Tywin's still the lord there. Probably has some underling or extended family handling the day-to-day affairs.
Yeah, probably some steward or Maester, much like were running Winterfell for Robb and Cat in their absence.

So does it sound like Jon Snow wants to go back to Crasters place to kill the rogue crows?
He was definitely arguing for that so the wildlings wouldn't find out the true numbers of the Night's Watch at the Wall.

Also love how he clenches the fist of his fake hand while running. Oops.
no emmy for him
At Joffrey's wedding when he is about to kiss the bride, Jamie had 2 two hands and was holding styrofoam cup of coffee in the scene.

It's almost like he's not even trying.

That's actual not true. The gif thats online is from dress rehearsal, and yes that happened.
However, on the actual airing of the show, he has the one hand and no coffee cup.

I think it was stupid of Sam to bring gilly to the whore house. She's in just as great of danger there as she is at the wall!
Sam sent her off before the village kid made it to the Wall so he has no idea there are wildlings marauding across the countryside.
As to leaving her in a whorehouse, I look at it like this: if you could take only a single Dollar and found one on the ground, you'ld snatch (pun) it up, right? If you could take only one Dollar out of a pile of them, what are the odds you are going to dig through until you find one at the bottom of the pile?
It's not a great solution, but with the change in leadership at the Wall it's the only solution Sam had (since he could have her in his room).

can a reader explain to me why the Dornish come off as Spaniards on a holiday in Key West?
also all of that "we treat our low born equal" and "they are all my sisters and brother" stuff?
like i mean a sociological statement (without spoilers, obivously)

GRRM based the Dornish off of Spain (and some of its Moorish influence) in terms of dress, physical appearance and skin tone, culture, etc. Let's just say the North is Scotland, Iron Islands are Ireland, and the rest of Westeros is England, than the "Spanish" Dornish are definitely going to be spicier in comparison with their culture, how they dress, how they view sexuality, their treatment of women, etc. while the rest of Westeros appears to be stuck in the Middle Ages with their views on the same matters.

I believe Dorne is from a different descent or something. Rhyonar or something like that if I remember correctly.
And they were kind of isolated for awhile because they are a desert place surrounded by mountains.

They do have Rhoynish influences but there are 3 types of Dornish: Salty Dornish (Martells), the Sandy Dornish (darker than Martells but not like the people we see where Dany is), and the Stony Dornish (fair-skinned like other Westerosi).

If I were to explain Westeros compared to real world geography:
North: Scotland
Iron Islands- Vikings (Scandanavia)
Stormlands- Ireland
Vale- Switzerland
Westerlands, Riverlands, Crowlands- England
The Reach- France
Dorne- Spain

The Reach- France
No wonder we haven't seen any action there on the show. The Reach likely instantly surrendered to any invading army.

Has no one ever posted this?
South Westeros is Ireland upside down, with a raging boner.
