but the necklace was blue. If each crystal was poison, it would have been a more effective scene if he had taken off a crystal and dropped one into a cup.
im guessing only one was poison and old lady tyrell knew which one to grab. that way if the necklace was suspected the rest would just come up as fakes

Maybe only one of the crystals was poison.
I honestly have no idea.

I think Tommen might be the best King yet.
Tommen is a good kid, and is basically everything that Joffrey is not (aside from inbred, of course).

I mean, it's been basically answered in this episode, but why would Littlefinger take time to forge a necklace? It's not as if he couldn't afford a regular one. And if it was a regular necklace, why even bring the necklace up?
The necklace served many games.
1. It in some way implicated Sansa, reinforcing LF's grip on her. He can threaten to implicate her in the plot if need be.
2.gives her a tie between her and dontos necessary for her to trust him enough to run away with him.
3. Less of a trace back to Olenna if she never bought such a necklace Had anyone noticed.
4. Because DRAMA! It keeps people guessing, building interest and making the series so great.

So did Olenna definitely take a piece of the necklace off and drop it in the cup?
Posted on 4/20/14 at 10:08 pm to iluvdatiger
I think that was what the scene with Olenna and Margaery implicated.
Posted on 4/20/14 at 10:12 pm to fr33manator
wow, I didn't get that at all out of the Olenna/Margary convo.

Just read the Sansa chapter after Joffery dies. It's all there.

Was a decent episode. Was in a very annoying atmosphere though, felt like I missed out on half the dialogue because of kids making noise.
Nights watch is about to have to make some choices.
Annnnnnd I want to see a fight between the Prince and the mountain.

I think it was stupid of Sam to bring gilly to the whore house. She's in just as great of danger there as she is at the wall!

Yeah, that was retarded. Sam has no game.

Sam needs to get laid once. He would start thinking and living differently.

Tywin's still the lord there. Probably has some underling or extended family handling the day-to-day affairs.

I don't know.
So does it sound like Jon Snow wants to go back to Crasters place to kill the rogue crows?
