that is not Stannis' way
Stannis lost "his way" a long time ago. The lure of the iron throne has become a greater power in his life than anything else he has or is.

Also someone go answer the last post in the Hodor thread. He completely misread the fires at the beginning and it's killing me that I can't tell him

Stannis' way is just about gaining power, and he'll do anything to get it.

So how did Ramsey and his 20 good men get in to the camp and burn everything?

Carefully and quickly.

Thanks, I've been really good about staying out the Hodor thread this week and I don't want to blow it now

I'm not sure, but if you're implying that Ramsay and Mel are working together, we may have a new set of tag team champions.

I'm not sure why, but this youtube reaction to Shireen's death had me rolling: LINK

I am extremely curious to Mel's intentions
Does she actually believe Stannis is AA? I don't think so, but she has done everything to help him so far, will this be the sacrifice that is used to betray Stannis or is she still using him for more?
And now I can't think of anyone else that she would consider AA, atleast in anyway that makes sense, because to me now, that religion is just as evil as the White Walkers, so whose her real end game? So many questions about her

i am super disappointed in the lack of ramsay in this episode. we didn't even get to see his quest. this was one of the most important missions in the history of westeros and we just gloss over it
also, are there any bigger idiots than the unsullied. why the frick are those retards still running around with spears? we should rename the hodor thread to the unsullied thread. hodor is more intelligent than those clowns

He should get a new wife anyway, his wife's family put their Banners in with Renly and then the Baratheons, so he didn't even get the armies that most men get when they marry a high born.

I actually think she believes Stannis is AA because she has been misinterpreting visions. It's like her vision in the books where she prays to see AA in the fire (hoping to see Stannis) but only sees snow. She didn't understand that vision, so in my mind her vision interpretation skills are lacking.

Actually once they go into the arena, the phalanx formation with shields should've worked. I guess the problem was that there wasn't enough unsullied to form a tight enough circle around Dany and crew. Plus their shields really aren't big enough to form a proper phalanx. They were no where near as big as an ancient Greek aspis (hoplite's shield).
But there was definitely enough room in the center of the arena to use their spears.

Seems pretty obvious to me, but she didn't get it. (BTW...the book hasn't confirmed this yet obviously, it just seems like a pretty easy interpretation to make imo).

IF that prophesy is correct, I think it has to be Snow. But this episode has me questioning that entire religion
