yes

i'm sure that kid is employed there

now employed at a brothel isn't exactly a wage job i'd imagine, esp as a helper. think gilly when she was south of the wall. people like that did work for a place to stay and food

Coco is a fricking bitch and has blamed me for all of his problems for the past 2 years, despite the fact that the only time I have posted there in the past 2 years is putting the Drogo comatose image when some idiot asked if the Night's King and the Mad King are one in the same. That is the only time I've posted there this year, but he's brought it up like 4 times this season.

Oh, you motherfricker...that is a straight up lie and you fricking know it. "All my problems"? Weren't you posting in the Hodor thread a week or two ago and trying to guide nonreaders along?* And I bring it up because you clearly post in the nonreader thread, when you're supposed to be in the reader/MG thread.

I understand that some of you don't like me when it comes to Got...I get that. But at least have the balls to not sit there and talk shite and straight up lie about shite. It's weird..I don't have a problem with you on any other topic, but with GoT, you fricking suck.

* if that wasn't you, then I'll back off a little on what I said. But I think it was you because I remember us having this conversation a few weeks ago...or was that in a different thread (I know we had that argument)?

cokes rest happy in the fact that OML is having a fricking epic melt over shireen dying

*ETA: the book readers also had stuff spoiled for them yesterday and threw some hissy fits. i almost texted you that b/c i figured it would make you laugh...but i didn't want to spoil the fact that something spoil-worthy was going to happen.

I could definitely see Arya offering herself to him, and then killing him.

I haven't watched it yet, actually. (dammit )

I was skimming this thread and the Hodor thread trying to get reactions to how the episode was (I've heard from friends it was awesome), and I came across that post from him. shite is hilarious.

well frick. i'm sorry. that was the other reason i didn't text (figured you were at the game). you can't hold that against me since you posted in this thread the day after, though. i feel bad now. i guess i should have known you hadn't watched it yet b/c i know you'd have a reaction to that situation.

Couldn't watch the Shireen part. Nope.

That was rough as hell. I was also scared as hell when it happened.

I had just checked into a hotel, and was smoking a bowl when that part came on. The tv wasn't great so my sound as pretty loud. When that part came on, I was afraid someone in another room was going to call the cops on me for child abuse, which would've meant angry, small town Texas cops kicking in my door.

No worries...it's not your fault at all; it's mine. I always try to watch on Sundays, but last night was the baseball game and then the basketball game, and I didn't get home till late. Sometimes I try to skim the episode thread to see peoples' reactions to the episode, and I can usually avoid spoilers. But I saw that shite from OML and had to respond.

ETA: I also had to tread very lightly on FB this morning.

I kept wondering where that madam got the girl, since it seemed like she was taken aback by the request. Did she just walk out back and grab the first little girl she saw? I thought slavery was outlawed in Braavos.

Looked like the cleaning girl to me.

I was reading an interview with the guy who plays John Snow where he talked about episodes 9 & 10. He said that while 8 was crazy, 9 would be wild and 10 completely insane. So far, he was right. Next week can't come soon enough.

Readers are deffinitly melting hard over Shireen

Pretty hilarious too, since they are mad that "GRRM would never do this!"

And D&D said in the post credits that GRRM told them this happens

That would be my guess. The madaam was definitely surprised by the request.

But was Stannis in on it? What bothered me aside from a girl getting burnt alive, is that Stannis would be without an heir. In the book Stannis left Shireen, his wife, & Mel at the Wall.

Who is the heir to Storm's End? His wife is barren and his brothers are dead. The only known living relatives are Gentry who he tried to burn, and Mya Stone who I don't think has been introduced on the show.

The book Stannis is much more cold blooded than he show Stannis so I don't see why not if he feels it's his only way

He can probably still have more kids

He can get a new wife, he doesn't seem overly fond of her anyway

He may get convinced that Mel gives him a son like she said in season 2

Screw his wife, she was pushing him to do it, and then when it started to go down she suddenly started to care. May they both burn in seven hells.
