It was carried out by a couple of guys and hooked onto the rail. Deck mounted means it’s mounted to the deck like the big ones at Kings Landing. Nowhere near the same size and it takes 3 of them to bring a dragon down. Go watch the scene where Greyjoy kills the dragon, that scorpion is over 5x the size and takes up the entirety of the front of that ship which is much bigger than Lohar’s.

Canonically, dragons have been killed by less. You're literally the only person making your argument.

That’s a defection, you give zero examples and it’s irrelevant since none of those facts can be disputed even with your attempt to misrepresent them.

You're about to get a really good example when the smallfolk storm the dragon pit and kill several of them with clubs and daggers.

Another deflection. You might as well have said Danny’s baby was a dragon and was killed by a witch but we both know that’s a perversion of the facts and doesn’t refute anything with regards to the size, effectiveness and implication of what actually happened in the show.

blueboy “mobile and deck mounted mean the same thing”

It took 3 guys to carry it.

Sorry the dragon-killing weapon wasn't badass enough for you. Please stay mad.

Yep.

It’s also worth noting that it’s not surprising that someone like the Triarchy would find a way to modify a scorpion to be easily moved on the deck of a boat (given their proximity to the Dornish folks who developed them to begin with).

Nobody’s mad but you and yours. It’s now gone from “deck mounted” to mobile so by your own admission you’ve lied and again the size disparity from the actual scorpion that took 3 shots, and one through the neck to kill Rhaegal, and the one used to kill Vermax is huge. Again that matters because if all you need is 3 guys to carry one and mount it on something small armies would carry thousands and dragon threats would be almost moot. I also like the dishonesty of your events in the pit where the small folk killed 3 dragons, 2 smaller than 15 feet and another smaller dragon with wildfire and a crowd so large the bodies of those who didn’t survive the attack blocked the tunnel entrance. Even Martin bitched about what they did in this episode but you know better.

Funny they didn’t have them in the step stones.

Holy shite, you're a bitch. Go watch it again. They carry it to a mount on the side of the ship. Sorry if that upsets you.

No, it doesn't.

If everyone would just ignore his posts this thread would be a whole lot more constructive.

I get your point, could have been a little more buildup. That being said, Corlys just pulled him aside, honored him with a quite uncommon drink, and recognized that he was the problem and was wrong to disown him all his life. He also recognized Allyn's mother as more than just a random whore.

Allen was visible kind of taken back. It probably shattered the image he had all of these years of Corlys and he was trying to figure out how to process it. All he's ever wanted was for his dad to recognize him for what he was and there it was all of a sudden.

I can see Allyn snapping when he saw Corlys go down after that. It can be rationalized.

Was funny since scorpions were old tech. They used them in Dorne to kill one of the conqueror’s sister’s dragons.

Not the small ones used to kill Vermax which is the point and again if the Triarchy had them like the post you’re supporting says, where were they in the Battle for the Step Stones?

Have you considered the fact that Vermax was a smaller dragon? It makes sense to me given the relationship between the size of the scorpion and the size of the dragon. Especially when you add to it the fact that it had a weight attached to it. You’re acting like a regular bow and arrow took him down.

I get mad at my wife and kids and sometimes for an extended period. If a mfer tries to harm them watch me switch attitudes real quick.
