I take it as he knows she full of shite about being a stone mason's daughter but has no clue that she is a Stark
Yeah, I can buy that, and that's kinda what I'm thinking as well. She's doing a pretty good job of deflection, but Tywinn is a pretty sharp guy. Their scenes may be my favorite on the show.

Look up on this page. Apparently it was on the show. I along with a few others also missed it or forgot about it.
I guess so. I expect me to miss that, because I find it hard to pay attention to every plotline and be able to keep track of everything because I am completely in the dark about GoT and the whole ASoIaF series...but it's weird that so many others missed it too. Oh well. I guess I can buy that explanation, but that doesn't really explain how Dany knew that he had betrayed her in the past though.

Last night she made the comment to him about it being the second time he did, or something like that.

At the very least he knows that Arya is of noble birth.

no

That was the masked witch lady from Asshai, not Dany. Dany was only pissed with Jorah for trying to get too close/familiar with her aka wanting to get into her pants.

quote:disagree. he's never seen her, he doesn't know she escaped KL. He may figure she's FOS and Northern highborn, but there's no evidence anywhere that she's Stark. Littlefinger even had a chance to out her, but didn't.
think he has a pretty god idea of who she is

Yes. He set up Dany to drink the poison wine in season 1. He had a change of heart after being with Daenerys for so long. That's why he called out the seller and made him drink it instead.
perhaps...or perhaps he got word from Westeros that Robert / Ned no longer wanted her dead. Remember he was going to check for a letter and did not want Dany to go with him.

And the letter contained a royal pardon for his services in the matter of assassinating Dany.

episode was alright. kind of boring for the most part
Totally agree. Jon walking around with the wild woman is Enough! We get it already. I thought Jamie's conversation in the cage with his cousin would neeeever end... and then we're left with a ridiculously implausible escape. And then we get to hear yet another long-winded Jamie speech to Mrs. Stark. Elements like these, I suppose, are good for a book that's consumed at leisure, but there's only so much air time.
I'm also in the "Dany is the worst character" camp. Good grief. Can't somebody give her at least SOME bit of dialogue other than the waah waah waah that would make us want to care about her cause?

The hell? The examples you just gave are some of the best parts. I suppose you like shows all action, no character development at all.

Agreed to an extent. I don't think she's the worst or anything like that, and I do like her character and storyline...but I feel like her story has gone WAY downhill. She was awesome at first when she went from basically being a sex slave for Drogo to coming into her own as queen. And then the dragons are pretty badass. But now she's lost practically everything and still acts like she rules over a giant kingdom or something. shite, she doesn't even have her dragons anymore, but still tries to act like a badass. I want to care about her cause, like you said, but it's difficult at times. Basically the sole reason she's not dead is because the only black dude in the universe wanted to frick her.

dany needs to pack on more weight to make it realistic, IMO. black dudes like their women more plump than that.

Do you just want to see sex and killing??
It's then that you realize that Jaime is a pure killer and all he cares about as himself. Its kind of easy to forget that since he had been chained up or a whole season. Character development is huge. His speeches were both great scenes this episode. He also reminds us that Ned stark wasn't the purest of men either even though everyone love him

Losing the dragons should be an eye opener for her now. She truly has nothing and no one to trust.

I don't think that would stop anyone from tearing that shite up

Also, before last night, did Tyriann know about Cersei and Jaime (and that her kids were his instead of Robert's)?
Yes, pretty sure he knew back when they were all in Winterfell.

I think he just had a strong assumption until Cersei admitted it last night. You could see a kind of look on his face that said "I KNEW it!"

I think that Tyrion knew it before last night.
I was more shocked at Brienne's lack of reaction when Jamie admitted it, but I guess she is a stoic character.
Jamie definitely had a point about Cat's outright hatred of Jon. One of my most heart-wrenching moments of the series was when Jon was saying goodbye to the comatose Bran before he went off to the wall and Cat was like "GTFO, you bastard!"
