My dad is well versed because prior to S1, he made me watch every single of the lore videos on the S1 blu ray special features. I believe they're the same ones that yall linked on youtube. He knew all about Robert's Rebellion and whatnot before even watching S1

We will definitely get a Tower of Joy flashback in one of the future GOT seasons.
