It's a teaser trailer on youtube for those that don't like blind links.

If it doesn't have Melissa McCarthy and Leslie Jones back, this movie is sexist.

Boy, that trailer was spoiler-y.

Don't even need to see the movie now.

Not much of a trailer.

Didn't they just announce this the other day?

I wouldn't hold this trailer to any of its presumed promises.

Sounds like a it's getting heat from both sides.

People who loved the older movies want them left alone, no more sequels.

Loons wanting to know where the women be at.

Eh. As a diehard fan, I was of the opinion that when Harold Ramis passed away, it should've been dropped. After the abomination that was Ghostbusters: Answer The Call, I am all for giving a real sequel a shot. It wont be the same, but I'd rather see one last ride from the originals than a sequel to 2016.

As hard as Harold and Dan worked for years trying to get it made, I dont think Harold would object.

This is a no win situation for anyone outside of Dan Aykroyd, who gets a cut of any bastardization of his work.

They can’t or won’t do anything with the original team since Harold Ramis is dead and Bill Murray wants nothing to do with it.

The newest film was divisive to say the least.

Frankly, the best way to do it probably would have been the three living members mentoring a new team but the attitude of “frick the original team” seemed to pervade the most recent one.

Aykroyd, Murray, and Reitman will all get cuts no matter what. Those 3 combined hold a good chunk of the rights to Ghostbusters.

Murray has come around more in recent years. Used to he would blow off even talking about Ghostbusters. Or keep his answers short and pointless. Before the 2010 Scream Awards, you never wouldve caught him in a flightsuit, much less on stage with a proton pack on. He even said last year or the year before that it could be fun. Not a guarantee, but hes more open to it than he used to be.

You have Paul feig and Amy Pascal to thank for that. Feig said he didnt know how to make a sequel but he knew how to "make a movie with hilarious women."

Amy Pascal and Feig were holding meetings without Ivan Reitmans knowledge. Amy was even discussing legal option against Murray if he refused to play along.

This is a Perfect situation for a remake. Instead of being judged against the original it will be compared to 2016’s movie and compared to that joke they call a movie, anything resembling a competent storyline will look like Gone with the Wind

I'm not a fan of the idea of a Ghostbusters 3, despite them calling it a sequel it's clearly another attempted reboot.

It will be like the Star Wars movies,t hey'll have the old heroes appear and try to pass the baton to new guys.

Apparently early reports are that the "new" ghostsbusters int raining will be young kids, like young teens and stuff.

For some reason I immediately thought of Stranger Things.

Ghostbusters became a smash hit because not only did adults find it very clever and compelling (the movie was very adult themed) young boys loved the idea of being a Ghostbuster.

They are desperate to recreate that so I wouldn't' be surprised if this kid angle is true.

I hope the cast is diverse and not mainly while people. It’s important for everyone to feel represented. Black Panther and Spider-Man into the spider verse did this very well.

I literally had a dream last night that Bam Margera was a cast member

Last night I was scrolling through the TV menu and came across Ghostbusters. Thinking it was the original, I was like “heck yeah.” It wasn’t. It was the new one. I had never seen it, so I gave it a watch. 10 minutes later I changed the channel. The criticism for it is absolutely warranted.

Yep. I gave it a shot and after a few minutes I had to change to something else. It was aggressively unfunny.

I do not ask much from the comedies I watch, but I do expect them to be humorous.

They tried too hard to be funny. Everyone wanted to be the Bill Murray of the group. Nobody was able to do it.
