Barristan in his prime, Arthur Dayne, and Jaime (with 2 hands prior to his hand getting chopped off).

I'm leaving Arthur Dayne out, simply because he never technically appeared in the show and I'm still a Hodor.

Revised list:

1. Prime Ser Barristan
2. The Viper
3. 2-handed Jaime
4. The Hound
5. The Mountain
6. Drogo
7. Brienne
8. Bronn
9. Jon Snow
10. Tormund Giantsbane

Stannis mowed down several men by himself during Blackwater. He deserves to be on the list.

Good list, but Syrio disarmed 5 kingsguard with a wooden sword, saved arya, and it's unknown if he escaped Ser Meryn Trant (he probably did)

Also the First Sword of Braavos. He has to be top 10

Jamie is right there with Barristan. I think Jamie is the best. Even Barristan acknowledges Jamie's skills. And he does not think he's ever met a more natural swordsman.

And I'd have the Mountain that Rides over the Hound. The Mountain is a brute.

I see you have Tormund on your list. Tsk tsk. Mance Rayder would make very quick work of Tormund

Stannis

No.

Great battle commander. Not a very good one on one fighter in combat.

Now his brother Robert Baratheon? Certified badass. Swung a war hammer with one hand that Ned Stark couldn't pick up with two hands

Jamie mentions (while he has two hands) that there are three better swordsman (not exactly sure what term he used) that he considered better than himself. He didn't go into details, though.

Did you watch the fight? He outclassed the Mountain.

Cersei stated in the show Oberyn was a feared champion and he beat the mountain if he didn't try for a confession. It's a given.

Jaime said there were 3 men in the 7 kingdoms who might stand a chance, but I feel like he might have been trying to goad Brienne into fighting him so he could escape.

I always assumed the 3 men he could have been referring to were Barristan, the Mountain and the Hound.

That's right. It's either the Hound or Blackfish. He admired Blackfish a lot as a kid

Jaime fought Brienne to a standstill half starved and in chains. I'd say he's #2 only behind this guy:

I feel like Jaime has to be on the list. He went toe to toe with Breinne while he was in chains & was pretty weak. Would've loved to see them both at full strength going at it. Glad someone mentioned Robert. Dude swung a warhammer & won a lot of tourneys. Was thinking maybe Bronn should get some love too.

ETA: I see the revised list now
