Ser Barristan is better than the Mountain. Really the Mountain isn't so much a great swordsman as he is just a sheer terror on the battlefield. His armor is almost impenetrable, and that's why he's able to fight so long.
And Jaime certainly was at one point.

Jon was givin his sword by Mormont. Ice was melted down and remade into the swords Tywin gave to Jamie and Joffrey.

I knocked Drogo down a few spots because he doesn't wear armor, but he was a fricking freak in his limited time on the show.

Ned didn't take Jorah's sword. Jorah's father was Lord Commander of the Night's Watch and gave it to Jon.
