Hodor is the guy that carries bran around. All he says is hodor so that is what the call him

All you really need to know but it's told in the books he is the son of the old lady that tells bran the stories.

I don't think the hound has anything against her just can't believe she's there and also alittle slap in the face to the guys that they have a highborn and had no idea

Hodor was a stable boy at winterfell. he is an incredibly strong simpleton whose only spoken word is "hodor". his real name is Waldur

quote:

what's his beef with her (arya)
none really. he just knows her from the journey to Kings Landing and that everyone is looking for her.

she, on the other hand, hates him for killing her friend, the butcher's boy, because she hit Joffery on the journey to king's landing

The guy that only says Hodor and Carries Bran.

i must've missed this, what's his beef with her (arya) besides her being a stark. he was kind to sansa, so i don't get it.

The whole first season. He is also one of the names she mentioned every night before sleep in the second season. The people she wants to kill.

I like the way the big lady took apart the Kingslayer although he was probably weak and injured from being held captive.

It's extremely annoying when book readers say shite like this. People in here don't want to hear stuff like this

That's like someone saying man I hate Joffrey then you coming in saying don't worry he will be taken care of REAALL soon. ( As ive said im on book 2 so this is obviously just an example, please Dont take this as fact because i have no clue and highly doubt it happens) It's annoying.

Now non book readers are expecting something that try wouldn't have before. Just as you didn't expect it when you read the book for the first time

Getting awfully book-ish in here.

How many storylines do we have going on right now? These are ones I can think of.

- Dany and her dragons/army
- Arya with the "non-Banner" dudes
--------now including the Hound
- Bran and Rickon and that group
- Jon Show and that camp
- The wall watchers and that crew (with the fat dude)
- Sansa
--------including Baelish
- Tyrion and his whore
- Brienne and Jamie
- Stannis Baratheon and that devil chick
- Joffrey
-----including Cersei, Margaery and her brother
- Robb Stark and Catelyn
- Tywin Lannister?
- Theon Greyjoy (in captivity, but also his other endeavors like the Iron Islands)

Any others I'm leaving out? And I realize that some of thsoe are intertwined with each other, but it goes to show how many different things they have going on and why it sucks that we only get a few minutes of each one.

Exactly, and I agree. But you also said this only a few minutes earlier:
quote:

All you really need to know but it's told in the books he is the son of the old lady that tells bran the stories.

You're also bringing in book knowledge, which this thread doesn't want.

Another week, and I still don't get why people simply can't just not discuss book shite, no matter how relevant or irrelevant they think it is.

That's what always happens. People come in here with BS remarks they think are cute and it just lessens the experience.

I feel like you got all the story lines. I didn't something kinda like this but put questions that have arouse instead of just saying what's going on like 2 pages ago.

Even though it was kinda stated another is Robb going against his word to marry the girl

Eta:

I don't think that has any substance personally. Saying he's related to old nan and telling someone that a character is " very " important kinda on different pages in my book. I'm sorry if someone didn't want to know why hodor does what he does etc. he's retarded. They didn't say that on the show but I said it here hope I didn't spoil anything

Right. I'm just saying to you, don't bitch at people about doing that when you're almost doing the same thing.

And TWD threads used to be much worse than GoT. At least both GoT threads get enough play, and it's not just the non-reader thread that is long.

the book reader thread gets annoying because it is 5 pages of them mocking this thread, and the rest is them bitching about how the show is different from the books
