Solid episode, but it goes to show how convoluted the show is...we saw like 6 or 7 different storylines, and they still left some out of the show completely. As much as I love the show, it kinda sucks when we get scene after scene of a few lines of dialogue with one storyline only to have to keep moving onto the next one. It kinda makes me feel like nothing is happening.

That is one problem with the adaptation of the book. The book has an unlimited amount of time to tell about everyone.

I still believe the first two are just set ups. I think episode 3 will start rolling everything and you will want to see each POV.

Well I already want to see all of them, so it's not a matter of me being unhappy that they are showing so-and-so's storyline...I enjoy pretty much all of them. But after last week, everyone was saying that it was pretty much a setup episode and next week shite will start happening. Well now that's two weeks in a row of "setup." And I'm not saying you're wrong, but I can completely see the exact same thing happening next week with people saying the same things. It's almost like with a show this big and far-reaching, almost everything is a "setup" in some way or another. I just hope they don't start wearing themselves too thin. I mean shite, Peter Dinklage is arguably the best character on there, and he had like 4 minutes of screen time. Daenerys is another fan favorite and she wasn't even in it. Arya is another one, and she's been in about 6 minutes of the first two episodes. Also love Baelish's character, and he wasn't in this one at all. Etc.

A way to fix that is to have some of the stories finally start merging with each other...and I haven't read the books, and don't need to know what's coming. I'm sure they'll all start combining at some point, but until that happens, it's just gonna be really small bits and pieces of 50 different plots.

I really enjoyed this episode. shite is about to get real:

- Margary is quite cunning. Finds out info about how demented Joffrey is and then plays right into that with her visit to him in his chambers.

- Arya gets outed by the Hound. Can't wait to see how this goes. The guys she is with are "men under no banner"? So are they like anarchists or something (dont spoil if the answer is a spoiler)

- I know some people dont like it but I enjoy the back and forths between Jamie and the huge broad.

- I have a feeling that Bran is going to end up being very important somehow and am looking forward to his story developing more

I see what you mean. I am kind of worried the show could get choppy due to all of the different storylines. I could see where it could turn some people off. I liked this episode & can't wait till everything starts falling into place. The last 2 weeks set up a lot of stuff. Really excited.

With that said. I am starting the books this week. I can't take it anymore

I agree with all you said. I liked that Bran was a warg (?) and could speak with/see via animals. That was pretty cool.

I also like Jamie and Brienne (?) going back and forth. I don't like the chick as much (like the actual actress), but their banter is funny sometimes and Jamie Lannister is awesome.

how crazy were the scenes with theon

Very interested to find out who those guys are with torturing him. At least it seems they are with Rob Stark, but a part of me thinks its Theons father behind this

I think this season has been pretty boring so far. Everyone says "shite is about to get real," but it should have already been real. I'll be glad when some real action starts happening.

Seriously dude? One it's 2 episodes and and they have been really good episodes.

I don't see boring at all. It's raised so many questions already:

Who's doing this the theon
What's the deal with the hound
Dany and all her shite.
The boy with bran
John snow. Wtf going on there
We gonna see Margery's supple titties?
Sansa fricked?
Tyrion gonna frick his dad over or his shay gonna get killed?

I feel like I could keep going

I say the first two are set ups because we didn't see all the POV's in the first and now we have. Now that we have seen all of them, we can move on with the story and not be set ups.

Just people that are against Joffrey, do not want to fight under Robb and want to protect their land.

Essentially they are the peoples banner, not any lords.

I keep seeing comments like this:
quote:

I know it's always good to see chicks naked again, but we definitely have already seen her tits before.

That being said, I'll gladly see Dany's again...seems like it's been forever since we've seen her awesome body.

Thinking back, I also think they messed up the first episode because didn't they only focus on like three plots? Because they did that they had to cram all the rest into the second episode I guess. Hopefully it evens out a bit over the next few weeks though.

Also, the whole thing in season one is that "Winter is coming.." Well, does that bitch ever get here?? It's season three now and it's still not winter.

The year is 299AL. It starts in 300AL. To say anymore would get spoilery-ish.

Joffrey isn't gay. He's just such a psychopath that the thing that turns him on is causing pain and torture in others. Regular sex would merely be like masterbating to him.

There are no definite dates of this. You are just guessing. Don't argue in this thread.

Keep in mind though like they've mentioned on the show, the seasons stretch waaaayyyyy out. And this summer that just ended is the longest in recent memory.

I agree. He's not gay he's just fricked up in the head. The product of your parents being siblings. He's just a loon. Hurting others gets him off

And yeah seasons are really long. Winter is coming. Bitches better be ready
