i didnt click the vid and am afraid to read the thread because of potential spoilers.
I just finished Clash of Kings and have just started Storm of Swords (only 20 pages in)
Does this trailer spoil anything past Clash of Kings?

they definitely didnt have a "battle budget" for the first season
but the second season will likely have a pretty decent budget due tot he first season's success
hell, if it wasnt for this show and Boardwalk Empire, I wouldve cancelled HBO by now
i doubt the battles will have the budget for braveheart type battles, but i think they'll be pretty awesome still

Jaime really only had one scene "on stage" in CoK, and they threw it into S1. They have to jump ahead a bit or risk losing Nicolaj Coster-Waldau - who was born to play Jaime Lannister.

Yea, no way they were sinking that much more money into a show they didn't know how they would do. They had already done enough. It will be a damn shame if they continue this habit though.

the thing with GRRM he doesn't follow the normal trend for story telling. Hell knowing him he will probably kill them off or something and have moon boy be king.
