I get the feeling this is going to be an episode I like and then find out a huge chunk of this board hates.

Honestly, I’m just not going in expecting to see certain things only to be enraged when they don’t happen. There’s a wide spectrum of what I would be okay with seeing. Unless it’s something stupid (like Jaime turning on the north to side with Cersei again or the whole show turning out to be a dream), I’m pretty much okay just seeing what happens.

Oh they gonna hate this one for sure. That’s how I know I’ll love it. They have to reset the board again, and that means dialog; that’s a sure fire episode killer for a few of these baws.

What the frick are you talking about? Jesus, did you come up with this 'witty' reply by thinking Theon and Greyworm were the only strong male characters? Have you heard of a man by the name of Jon Snow? What about Ned? Jorah? Berric? Davos? Tyrion? Tormund? Gendry?
I swear, the only type of person that is worse than the person that gets mad at shows like this for not being feminist enough are the people that think the show is too feminist. There have been strong male and female characters since episode 1 and strong male and female characters have been both heroes and have died in droves.
Give it a rest.

People that hate last week’s are probably going to hate 5 (only because Emilia said it’s a big episode) or the finale (because it’s the end). This episode doesn’t have nearly as much expectations as last week’s did or the last two episodes probably will.

I leaned this way but it isn’t true.
Jorah, Jon, Tormund, The Hound, and Gendry are all whole and (except Jorah) still alive.
They all exude qualities of manly men in leadership roles.
Arya- panicked in the face of the wave of dead and ran.
Sansa- hid and was useless in combat.
Dani- useless in combat without her dragon, impulsive and abandoned the plan at the first sign of trouble. Also she has made some serious mistakes that will haunt her, like killing Sam’s family.
Cersei- an evil bitch.
Mormont girl- a pity case and ended as such.
