She got the "not today" before the Night King was in the area with the tree. My bet is she made it there before the Night King then climbed up in the tree to wait for the right moment.

I realize she’s an assassin but she just maneuvered through all of those white walkers to get to the Night King without being noticed?
I can buy it. How'd she Batman from under that table without the wight who was right freaking there noticing? That whole sequence was setting up that Arya can move without anyone noticing when needed.

Great production. Sound borrowed HEAVILY from Dunkirk to great effect.

All the characters that died are characters that I either 1) hated (Lyanna Mormont, Theon) or 2) didn't give a shite about (Edd, Beric, Ser Jorah)
