They're not using the specifics of the prophesy that are known to book readers. Any book reader who is expecting DD to follow the books interpretations and plot since season 5 is an idiot.

So they "shite on the source material" in season 1 and people are just now getting around to bitching about it?

Her not drinking was how Tyrion knew she was Prego. Was that just lazy writing?
I’m pretty sure it was when she touched her belly and said “it’s for this”, but what do I know
Do you call everything you don’t like lazy writing?

hell I separated the books and the show in S2 when they started changing and omitting characters
no idea why people are still trying to force the 2 as the same

No shite. And that is fine. I was just pointing out another difference. That D&D don't care.
That prophecy is not nearly as important as the Prince that was Promised anyways. It is just forshadowing of Cersei's doom. Which is still going to happen.
Azor Ahai is not.

isn't there still some disagreement on if the Prince that was Promised and AA are the same?
they are never mentioned together in the books

No, not at all. I didn't call that lazy writing at all. I was asking you what you thought that was? But I will concede. Perhaps she just would not drink because she does not trust him.

It's usually only used in an attempt to defend or destroy someone's opinion on the latest episode .

Maybe the prophesies are all bullshite. Maybe they don’t matter except to those that believe in prophesies

Mel has misinterpreted some and she admitted that
How was she never wrong until just now though? She was wrong as soon as Stannis died.

No. People knew then. But that is a minor change. Azor Ahai is not.
Also it is pretty easy to say that Cersei was lying to Catelyn when she told the fever baby story.
1. To manipulate her by relating to her.
2. Out of hiding what she really did.

i cant help you if you dont understand what misinterpretation is.

Yeah but Tyiron literally says she's pregnant when she refuses him offering her whine last season. So the people in GOT know how alcohol hurts babies during pregnancy

Some disagreement perhaps. But there shouldn't be.
quote:
He [Stannis] is discarding the gods that he has worshiped since his childhood and accepting the red god and giving himself to the lord of light. And in return, Melisandre sees that the lord of light gives him a token of his role as the prince that was promised by an ancient prophecy. And of course, that's his sword Lightbringer.
GRRM confirming

We don’t know if she was manipulating her or hiding anything, so we go with what we have
She was told she would only birth 3 children, she has already birthed 4 and has a chance at 5, so that prophecy is wrong in show world
It shows that prophecies aren’t canon

Well obviously lol. Arya just top roped NK.
And it is okay for us to not like what D&D did to the story.

This never happened
ETA: I went back and watched the exchange, he pours a glass for her, and it is never mentioned again.

She drank wine this season already. I honestly don’t believe she’s pregnant and I don’t care about it one way or another.
