Tower of Joy battle just went down. Shame they butchered the dialogue.

Wonder when the Hodor thread is going to wake up.

It is interesting that they changed the dialogue from the book. It was perfect

I think it's pretty believable that the actual events didn't go as poetically as the book in Ned fever dream.

The past always gets romanticized.

They even allude to this by showing bran that Howland stabbed him in the back, which is way off of the story he was told

Maybe we can assume the news got out that Jon was murdered to effectively end his watch

Save for the BwoB, who is going to believe that?

Cercei will certainly have a little quip about the nightswatch believing in "grumpkins and snarks"

3 episodes? It's going to take a whole season for her fleet to cross the vast Narrow Sea. She's going to fly back to Mereen in the first episode and catch back up as the ships are getting to Dragon Stone in the finale.

In the trailer we're shown the Unsullied fighting with what looks like Lannister soldiers and Dorthraki fighting against knights as well. These final 2 seasons are going to have very little in terms of filler.

I don't remember

Jon switched the babies, Mance's son for Gilly's son. For the same reason.

Sam, Gilly, and Aemon took Mance's son with them. She even named the baby Aemon, after Maester Aemon died.

to our knowledge cersei in the show met Jon snow once, and only briefly, at winterfell.
clearly she would know that he's now leading the reclaimed north, but what else?
does she know Sansa is with him?

I love this scene looking back between Jon and Jaime: LINK

LF told her she was in Winterfell and now she'll be aware LF betrayed her, so I'm sure she does.

One would think when Ramsey married Sansa, and became Lord of Winterfell she was aware that Sansa was in Winterfell.

But how can I watch the premiere when I'm only halfway through my rewatch of last season?

So remember how D&D would deliver Obama all the Episodes early? What do you think the chances they returned the favor to Trump?
