Not hardly. Reek was a Bolton servant - essentially their version of Hodor.

You know, that actually makes Ramsey less compelling. Ramsey being Roose's Reek just made too much sense for why he would be the way he was. It almost makes r/theDreadfort sympathetic.

Missandei and Grey Worm are such boring asses to be playing off Tyrion.

oh i completely agree, but Dany has to leave someone in charge when she finally heads back to westeros, so i think the reason that D&D keep the two of them in on every important mereen scene is to kinda show that they're being trained to run the place for Dany when she is gone

I don't know. Roose wondered if it was Reek who corrupted Ramsey, or Ramsay who corrupted Reek. Interesting question - more intriguing by remaining unanswered.

Reek was kind of his guardian, and taught him how to fight. This is why Ramsay's fighting is more blunt and brutal and lacks style.

I think cruelty was a predilection of Ramsay's, and Roose spent very little if any time with him, but I think the original Reek was probably more of an influence. Still, Ramsay was willing to sacrifice Reek to save himself, so he obviously didn't feel subservient to him.

I don't think a lot of people know that Ramsay for a short time assumed Reeks identity in the books to avoid being executed. It is how he meets Theon when he takes Winterfell. The point of making Theon Reek was to give himself his best friend/ play thing back. In order to do this he couldn't have Theon be Theon. He had to break Theon and make him REEK.

You are absolutely correct. I'm ashamed, and honestly disgusted with myself. I edited and wholeheartedly apologize.

My math is a little fuzzy but what's that convey to in fractions of boxed wine? Cause I've probably paid my penance for the day. Been off work awhile.

But seriously, how did Bob not catch more hell for confusing the reak origin? It's the most interesting part of house Bolton. It was the only connection that young Ramsey had to his father and it was possibly what corrupted an otherwise promising young lad.
