What's the date of the season finale? We could all meet in new orleans and get drunk and watch it together.

Oh, and speaking of LOST everyone, Jack Bender is directing the next episode of Game of Thrones. For those of you who don't know, he was the head director on LOST. As much as D&D diss LOST, I'm surprised they invited him to direct.

I was re-watching The Pacific the other day and I saw that Jeremy Podeswa who did eps. 1&2 of GoT this year, had directed a few episodes of that show. He did a Rome episode too I think.

but is there some sort of foreshadowing or hinting at something going on with LF giving Robin a Falcon? It seems weirdly emphasized

A falcon is part of the sigil of House Arryn. Last season Littlefinger's gave Robin a crystal falcon...and he threw it out the Moon Door.

Would anyone here get on board with my idea that the 2 real players of the Game of Thrones at this point are Varys and Littlefinger? Perhaps they will be the last 2 left standing at the end.

Re Littlefinger: I notice in Season 1 at the jousting tournament that he was already sidling up to Sansa.

No. I think, at this point, the most powerful hand is Dany's.

She's got the nut flush, Bruh. I just hope Jon is Targaryen, so after they whip that others' arse; they can unite the north and KL with dragons.

Dany had to go back to the temple of the widowed horseman to move forward. It was just like the Mirri Maz Duur said.

I hope this can put an end to the D+D=T theory.

Bruh, you need to accept the fact that the Night's King is going to win this game. Check your fantasies of happy endings because GRRM doesn't give a fuuuuuck

If the Night King is in fact a Stark then the Starks will finally sort of win something.

I'd almost like to see that just to see what he would do afterwards. Would he spend a lot of time "administering" his new kingdom, issuing writs and such? Would he take a vacation and chill by the beach in Dorne? Would he dole out parcels of frozen land to the wights who served him the best? Would he accept the debts to the Iron Bank as his own?

No way for that info to make it to the Vale and back. The letter came from Ramsay, it completely fits his cocky MO.

ETA otherwise healthy Roose Bolton just happens to keel over around his wife's due date? It is a really short hop to "Ramsay killed him." Umber had the same conclusion.

There was a messenger carrying a Flayed Man banner. The message had a Flayed Man seal (unbroken). Sansa knew that Bran and Rickon were alive, Theon told her. When Ramsey identified himself as 'Lord of Winterfell', it wasn't hard to figure out what happened. There was no subterfuge. It was straight up Ramsey being bold arrogant and stuuupid.

The consensus is that it's safe to discuss the E5 preview in here. So here it goes:

PREVIEW SPOILERS

I noticed in the Bran vision scene that it looks like the Night's King can see him. No sign of the Three Eyed Raven with him either. It also looks like it's not far from where Bran and co are since the big Weirwood is in the background.

What I'm curious about is if this vision is taking place in the past, present, or future?

To follow up on my earlier post, Littlefinger might be the true OG of this game.

Watch the start of this clip and see how his facial expressions change from :10-:17. Pure ruthlessness.
