I just rewatched the episode as well; it was way better the second time IMO. ToJ was better on the rewatch as well.
I payed close attention to Smalljon as well. I like to think the GNC is going to happen. He straight up tells Ramsey that the poisoning was bullshite and frick kneeling. Still no clue why he would hand Rickon over but who knows. We still have 7 episodes to go.

If Rickon does take Mance's place in the pink letter scenario, he'll be sleeping under an Osha cloak. That would be the only other reason for having her there.

I had the subtitles on and it said pycelle farts. I'm positive it was a fart.

Everyone if giving poor ole Howland a hard time, but it wasn't like Ned's crew set out to have a fair fight. It was freaking 7 on 2 (7 on 3 in the books). It was never intended to be a fair fight. Howland was just better at it than Ned and the rest of his crew.

I don't have a problem with the back stab. When you think your sister has been kidnapped you can kiss honor goodbye if it means the difference in getting her back or not.
I also didn't mind the Tormund dick joke. That actually seemed more like his personality than him shedding a tear. If they had made him too emotional it would have seem forced. Plus Jon had a chuckle which showed us he is still Jon and not completely different from before.

If Sam was still there, he'd know who she was since he actually met her along with the Stark boys. I can't remember if they showed Sam telling Jon that he saw them, but I would imagine he would tell him. So Jon probably knows that some wildling woman is taking care of Rickon and Bran.
