I could very well be wrong, but I finished rewatching S5 a few weeks ago and don't remember that. Last I recall, Cersei didn't trust/like him.

Littlefinger was probably always going to sweep in with his army from the vale and sweep out whoever won between the boltons and stannis
he covers all his bases but ends up always doing what he wants to do, and getting away with it.

Makes sense, but the Boltons dominated that fight, doe. Didn't take many losses.

didn't he get summoned to KL right after he sold off sansa?
iirc, he just affirmed his support with the lannisters and i don't think he was given any specific mission/job

I don't melt about shite.
I just think you are an idiot pretending to be some elite law mind who also is a contrarian.
Thats your play here on this site,
I'd not look for you on a traffic ticket, which you are aren't prepared for anyway. That lunch thread is too important man.

Personally, if my religion was literally capable of bringing people back from the dead, I would be devout.
Especially after her conversations about how many times Thoros brought Berric Dondarion back to life (last season? season before last?).
Looks like they are just going to draw that out a bit to build drama.

you have to remember that the vale pretty much took no part in any of the wars that have been going on since the series started
They're fresh, and probably have greater numbers than what a starved, snowed in winterfell can provide.
pretty sure the season is going to end with jon snow taking back winterfell with the help of his wildling army and littlefinger's army.

I think we all know melisandre is going to bring back Jon snow. It was obvious to me last season. Am I wrong? Lol
Not a book reader at all. Seems really to line up that way.
I guess it's obvious that they're deviating further and further from the books.
I was shocked dorne was in that first episode, shocked.

The impression I got from S5:
1)Littlefinger marries Sansa to Ramsey.
2)Cersei brings LF in because she doesn't trust him.
3)LF shows up in KL and is like "Whaaaaattt??"
4)Cersie is like "Whatever, I won't kill you but GTFO."
5)LF disappears for the rest of the season even though he's the most powerful person on the show not named Baratheon, Lannister, or Targareon.

Gotta love the fan service directly into the brain bleach.
And they're drawing the hell out of the resurrection. Good thing it's so cold. Decay won't set in for a lil' while. But not indefinitely. But I mean this long without brain activity and oxygen in the blood would be disastrous without some serious Red God mojo.
And looks like Arya is gonna turn into Daredevil. Only she kills people so...blind Punisher?

This was all new territory from the books. They pretty much hit the end of all the main story arcs from the books last season (except for a few which will probably show up this year in the show)
The only thing that's been terribly different than in the books is Dorne, and man oh man did they just double down on that tonight. Doran's one of the most interesting characters in the novels...and yeah.

I think he's playing to the Lannisters because he sees them as the most likely winner of any conflicts. I'm wondering how Dorne's involvement will play into his plans. Since he was on the Small Council I can't see the new regime wanting to work any deals with him.

he's allied with the house that killed their king. he also straight up said they were better/stronger than the lannisters

well the Dorne storyline is so stupid it's borderline retarded, so there is no point in trying to make sense out of Dorne

I'll be honest. I had no idea he was in a wheelchair.....
He seems to be ruling an entire 12 whole people, half of which are awkward chicks.

That's what I'm curious about. LF said that last time the Vail(Veil?) teamed up with the north, they overthrew a king. How powerful/big is the Vail? We know they have a castle that's nearly impossible to attack (without dragons at least). We also know that they have some Vikings living nearby. But that's it. Littlefinger is smart as shite and can make new alliances, but how powerful is he really right now?
I think that he has a ho-hum army, but he also doesn't have any immediate enemies that want to attack it, so he has time to grow.

I think the Faceless magic will allow her to see when she takes another identity.
