I thought it was a fairly decent episode and pretty much par for the course. In any season, there's never more than 1 1/2 episodes that really knock it out of the park

Dorne is the new Vail for me. How big/powerful is it exactly?
LF is currently a bachelor. The MILF from Dorne/Niobe from Rome could make for a powerful bride, and they would have a shared enemy in the Lannisters. The Vail + Dorne + controlling the North via Sansa = a legit army to take the Iron Throne for Littlefinger.

the dorne stuff was downright bad
cersei/jaime seemed like 2 different characters. bad dialogue
brienne and pod was hokey. pod goes from inept to killing a hand-picked, hardened bolton fighter?
and they burned the ships in mireen. they're never leaving
the wall stuff was good. i have no complaints about bravos, either

but it's never been "good"? They dumped some mediocre story line, cast with a slew of unattractive and uncompelling actors last year already, and then peppered them throughout as random filler if it was bad, it wasnt any worse than normal

Now I feel like a hardcore Comatose Khal. Littlefinger has some control over Tyrell terriroty? With the shitty arse cult controlling King's Landing + a pussy arse non-Joffrey King, plus Dany never going anywhere, that would make him THE most powerful person in Westeros.

but the tyrells are busy trying to save their 2 golden children, so they probably can't do much

there's an established pace and weekly checklist now. They're just following the formula
it's not the most captivating weekly episodic TV I've seen, but its not terribly bad

I wonder, if something were to happen to Tommen, would Margy Tyrell take over as legit queen? LF could arrange Tommen's death and marry into his new friend's family. It would make sense for both him and the Tyrells. That would give him King's Landing, the Tyrell's, the Vail, AND a friend in the North via Sansa.
I mean, winter/the White Walkers are coming, so it doesn't matter, but LF could quickly become the boss. I hope it happens as Gillen as Dinklage are the two best actors representing the two best characters on the show.
The most important thing for this show to do right now is kill off the religious folk in King's Landing. Awful storyline.
