Well, I never thought it was feasible for Littlefinger to sell Sansa off to the Boltons, and look where we are.

do you think the Hodors even know that Bran has a younger brother?

If they watched season 1,2, and I think 3 they have to.

I'd be shocked when Rickon shows up that if at least one of them didn't ask who he is.

Jesus. They may really need to do a Tommen/Myrcella recast on him.

If they didn't recast Bran I doubt they'd recast him

I wonder what Ramsay's "gift" is.
Knowing GoT preview blurbs, it could mean that the Winterfell cook makes him a batch of petit-fours.

Yeah that's what I'm worried about.

Frey pie is Ramsay's gift?

I think that's fairly different. Littlefinger only cares about himself and doesn't give the first damn about the North. The Umbers giving Rickon to the Boltons would be a straight up betrayal of their house and character, unless they have a legit reason to justify it.

He wanted his dead little mistress to be fed to the dogs, because it was "good meat". Maybe they decided to feed him the "good meat".

I think it's their ticket to earn the Bolton's trust and get behind their banners. It's a part of the Great Northern conspiracy in the show in that the "North remembers" and they will turn on them in the Battle of the Bastards.

But that's like the dumbest marriage he could have possibly given Sansa. LF I doubt has any intentions of letting Sansa go far from him ever again in the novels. I don't think its anymore out of character with LF selling Sansa off to the Boltons and for the Umbers to give up Rickon.

I have a feeling that is exactly what is going to happen. I doubt D&D give two craps that the Umbers from the books would never do anything to put a Stark in danger, much less without Great Jon being held captive like his is in the books (at least I don't remember him being captured).
If they go down this route, this will be the deviation from the books that pisses me off more than any other (even more than Barristan being offed by the freaking harpy trash). There is no way that the Umbers would hand over Rickon to the freaking psycho Boltons, and yet I think that is exactly whats going to happen. Ramsay will kill Rickon right in front of Jon and/or Sansa, and that will suck monkey balls.

Yeah it was smarter to keep Sansa at the Vale and present fArya to Ramsay but then you literally have nothing for Sansa so I understand

Actually it wasn't considering he used Ramsay's marriage to convince Cersei that the Boltons were betraying her, and thus got Cersei to promise him the North (along with the Vale that he already has).

What benefit do the Umbers land by handing over Rickon? They do that and there's no way in frick they turn on the Boltons.

Gain the Boltons trust. Roose knows the Umbers are the most loyal to the Starks so giving up Rickon earns their trust and is probably crucial to the GNC.
