And I'd also like to say, if Dany contracts grayscale and then creates a plague by passing it on to Missandei, I'm going to be a little pissed.

I had to turn the volume down while she was screaming. That was absolutely brutal. That was the most fricked up thing I've seen on this show. If Stannis doesn't do this in Winds of Winter, then I have to seriously consider writing the show off. D & D are just killing for killing's sake. Not for plot points, lessons, or surprises. It's just being done now for shock value.
I hope Winds of Winter comes out before Season 6, because this show is going off the rails without having the source material.

Ehh. I knew it was coming, but the show has seemed to try and make the audience more emotionally invested in Sansa than Shereen.

D & D went through all of the character's story lines with him. I hate to break it to you, but at some point, we're probably supposed to hate ' the Mannis.'
Given that they've killed off multiple characters that are still in the book alive I'm not sure how that matters. They are obviously changing quite a bit. And they have made Stannis kinda crappy from the start throughout the show. I have no doubt Stannis will die in the next book most likely, but he's pretty unlikely to kill his own daughter, not the least that she's not even with him.

Yea and you eat up every thing the shitty show writers throw at you. So what?
Posted on 6/7/15 at 9:24 pm to wildtigercat93
If that's where they go with that storyline, I'll stop watching the show for good.

OK, just hard to tell these days.

Speaking of the preview does anyone have a link to it?

Why are we arguing what is worse between two terrible acts. Sacrificing your own kid is about as messed up as humanly possible, but sexually and mentally abusing someone is extremely messed up as well.
But back to the topic at hand. I've always been leery of Stannis, even in the books. He's always been cold and emotionless. But after tonight I hope he gets flayed. I truly believe that once Davos hears of what happened, he'll leave Stannis' side (hopefully to go look for Rickon).
But I actually liked the fighting pits scene. And I really loved Drogon's cry in the distance, and how everyone in that arena immediately started looking up at the sky.
But the ease they had to spear Drogon kind of reduced the sense of invincibility that I thought dragons had. I mean, one good spear to the heart should be enough to kill a dragon if it is that easy to pierce their scales.

Pretty sure I've said multiple times there are some things I agree with and some I don't. You come in here flying your GRRM flag and crying about you hate the show EVERY TIME THERE'S A CHANGE.

I never thought I'd hate someone more than Joffrey or Ramsay. Now I actually want Ramsay to torture and kill Stannis, slowly.

Jesus Christ I've been trying to end this conversation for the past 10 posts. Let it go. Both things are deplorable, one is not any more excusable than the other. Why are we arguing about this, there way better things to talk about

Both are horrible but Stannis' actions were about 100x worse than what Ramsay did to Sansa.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if George RR Martin has that in his plans. Maybe not in the same place, but it seems unlikely to me that the scene was put in the throw for simple shock value.
There have been plenty of people predicting that Melisandre would try something with Shireen. Most of those people just predicted Stannis would stop her. Maybe just the second part was wrong.

I think there's a reason for Shireen's character, and I'm not sure people mad at D&D are going to like it.
go on...
