Are we sure the top of the tower isn't Ramsey's room? And yes, frick theon.

I went from thinking he's a botch, to hating him, to feeling bad for him to hating him again.

Right, but that won't matter if he's not king. If the Sparrow finds Cersei guilty of incest, then Tommen has no claim. If that happened, Stannis would be king by inheritance from Robert, and then he'd swing in with his new god and have chaos with the Sept.

To prove it though the High Sparrow would need to find the info that Ned Stark found. Lancel couldn't help him there, somebody else would need to do that.

Lancel could just tell him. His testimony should be enough to convict her.

Not saying I agree this is where the show is going, but Little Finger would know where those skeletons are buried. And I wasn't one to believe that LF was in league with the High Sparrow considering what they did to his brothel, but then again, wouldn't be beyond LF to sacrifice one of his holdings to advance his cause. And he could have passed on the info that the High Septon liked to visit his brothel.

Yeah, but...why?

I'm the first to say, hey, I enjoy boobs, but, damn. What value is that scene? In what way does it actually advance anything? If he's just not poisoned, you're at the same point you're at now. It's not like he's going to swear allegiance or a debt to them. That scene was stupid and pointless.

Hopefully the writers have a purpose for it that proves me wrong.

So, who did LF offer to the old lady in the whore house? The Cousin Cersei slept with? Wouldn't the high sparrow already know about him?

Anyone else notice that when they were speaking over Aemon's body they did not say 'We shall never see his like again?' I think they have said that for every other Night's Watch funeral.

But unless Lancel has proof it is just like all the other gossip going around about the incest. The High Sparrow would need something for the trial.

Yeah, I think LF could do it. Perhaps LF has a plan to make Robin king through the chaos and he would of course rule through him as hand.

What do they need from Bronn? They want Lannisters dead, he could help with that either by lieing about their intentions being there or killing jaime.

Maybe she actually gave him another poison to kill him, who knows, it's certainly in there for a reason though

If we assume it's a valid antidote, there's no real value. And I feel like we have to. Why the frick would you give him ANOTHER poison? He was already dead. He was clearly poisoned. You could assume it was a hallucinogenic poison, but then you have to ask why the frick you would use such a slow acting hallucinogenic poison. It had to be lethal. Anything else is nonsensical.

Maybe your first point stands, but it's pretty weak. I agree insofar as "Who benefits?" but that's the question of the whole scene. How does this advance anything. It feels like another instance where there isn't shite in place in regards to story so writers are just kinda...throwing shite against the wall.

It's gonna be a sad day around here when Bronn dies, that much is for sure. I like how she took mercy on him, and I liked how the other two snakes were like "oh great the hot ones doing her thing."

Watching the show Loras should have kept his cool. His lover boy did say he squired for Ser Loras and we also know he worked for Littlefinger at the brothel. He could have simply said he walked in on me changing into my armor or that Loras was at the brothel with a woman and the guy walked in on him and that's how he gained evidence of the birthmark.

Still seems rather sketch evidence on him.

Didn't the High Sparrow say the trial would be of seven judges. The first thing I was thinking that Loras would be his own champion and Margarey as well. The faith doesn't have any warriors of note. Lancel is their main guy and we know he is a chicken shite.

I'm not saying shite, but I feel like I've had things spoiled for me recently, and perhaps as a result I'm able to say there are spoilers on this page.

But some definite non-Hodoring.

Can they just ask for trial by combat in this case? If so, that trial/contest would be a joke..

Why not? Seems to be an accepted custom in everything else in that world.
