I would love it if they used Bran's storyline that way to fill in the blanks. The biggest thing missing in the shows imo is they don't have flashbacks and barely touch the prophecies. Allowing Bran to do this would really improve the show imo.

Wildling warg did it with no problems, right?
Wrong. The girl Six Skins tried to warg into fought him and caused them both to die making him warg into a wolf. Once a warg has been inside it's easier for the mind to be controlled but the first attempt is always the hardest. The first time Bran entered Hodor he was only in the mind for like 30 seconds before Hodor kicked him out. Plus Six Skins was better trained than Bran. If Bran were to warg into someone just to have them commit suicide it would have cause Bran a lot of pain and possibly drove him mad.

I think the wildling skin changer tries in the book but she fights it and draws the attention of the wights. I don't think its easy to take over a human, particularly a healthy one with a normal mind. I think at this point Summer and Hodor are the only minds Bran can enter.

They may need to bring back Sean Bean as well.

So the scene between Arya and the hound does that mean that syrio forel is alive?
Posted on 5/5/14 at 10:37 am to fr33manator
I have heard people think Syrio is Jaquen.

every main or semi important character that dies is shown getting killed. his death was never shown, and you know GRRM/HBO likes to show as much blood and violence as possible

why was jojen's hand burning?
My guess is that it's foreshadowing his own death.

I've always thought he was alive. Not sure about the Jaqen theory though.

I think that was showing him have his vision of Rast dying and being burned inside the keep.

The more I think about the Bran story moving forward, I think the show writers are definitely going to use him/#theweirwoodnetwork to show flashbacks.
That is a fricking BRILLIANT idea and can't think of a better way to show flashbacks. This will introduce Rhaegar/Lyanna, could potentially help fill in some of the Mountain story line, etc.
Perfect direction with his story line if that's where they are headed. I sure hope so.

fricking Coco here we go again

Well I'll still blame him because as far as I know, it happened in the books. I don't need to know how the show differs from the books, and this isn't the thread to share that information anyway.
But I've specifically blamed him for this kind of stuff in the past, and I assume it's been stuff straight from the books (as the source material).
To my Hodor-self, GRRM = GoT. I simply mentioned his name, whereas you specifically brought Middle Ground thread info in here.

frick that shite...I'm not the one who said anything. UM got mad when I said GRRM was a troll, so I defended why I did. NBD.

all the bitching you do you have no business in this thread.

lol! Looks like Middle Ground thread readers may be the next witch-hunt target for the Hodor purists

I actually clicked it on accident at first since all three are at the top (not the first time that's happened today either), but then I saw you mention me and felt the need to respond.
And I responded at my own risk, no doubt.
Also find it weird that you were RA'd for posting spoilers in the Middle Ground thread, yet were in the Hodor thread just last week. Weird, no?

i started reading the books last week and since then stopped posting in the hodor thread. you'd notice if your head came out of your arse every once in a while.
