I really am starting to think that may not happen until the end of the series, if it ever even happens at all. And that would suck because "winter" and the WWs have been presented as a pretty major thing since early on in the show.

I'm sure we will..the series is pretty much known for that at this point. But I'm talking specifically about "winter" or the WWs. So far all it's been is teasing really. For 3+ seasons.

They were touting before this season that MAJOR shite will go down and blow us away like none of the previous seasons have. Next week is midseason. Get your popcorn ready.

yea. i haven't read the books but maybe the WW march towards the wall soon? idk it seems they'd do something like that in season 6 or 7 not 4.

I think yall need to chill on the WWs. Book readers got butt hurt because they didn't even know about the baby scene last week. That obviously shows they don't know shite about them so their time to take action in the story is probably far off.
Side note, I'm going to relish the day that the series surpasses the books. Those book readers are true douches acting like they are better for reading a gotdamn book.

Well we get Jon Snow's Krew vs the traitors, then we get Snow vs the Wildlings right? I am assuming that will happen soon. Plus Oberyn fighting whoever he is fighting in those previews.

I don't know if it was this thread or the middle ground thread, but someone mentioned we haven't seen a death in a while since Joffrey. I think Cersei and Grandma Tyrell are headed for a showdown. Cersei goes after Margaery and Olenna tries to take out Cersei first. Some would argue who's the villain in KL with Cersei gone, but I'd argue what's her function now? She's Queen Regent in name only because Tywin is running shite, and the only real targets for her evil plots are Tyrion and Margaery.

I think it would be cool if Jaime is the one who kills Cersei...like if it came down to him having to either kill her or Tyrion or something like that (if it did come down to that, I think he would choose Tyrion to side with). Of course, knowing this show, all three of them could be dead within a couple weeks.

I told my wife a few episodes ago that there was no way they'd kill Tyrion and she said "Really? You do remember what show you're talking about right?" I guess if GRRM was writing TWD, Darryl would be dead by now.
