Have the White Walkers and the baby been discussed? What are the thoughts on this? IS this how the WWs creat new WWs or do they just turn the babies into zombies? I seem to remember that all of the zombies had blue eyes as well. If they are turning the babies into WWs are they only able to do it to babies? Perhaps adults become zombies and babies become WWs. What is the board's consensus?

Ironically, I think many would argue that he was too MUCH Lannister being an inbred that was TOO bloodthirsty and power hungry.

I laughed my arse off when I saw book readers saying the show actually might've spoiled future books with the white walkers stuff.

Let's not worry about what's in the books in this thread.

Or they are building an army. Just read the title of the book.

Yeah... I'm sure they can do that efficiently by taking male babies from a few people who are willing to give them up here and there.... cough...

Part of me wishes that Martin would have kept the magic and supernatural elements out of the stories... I cringed when I saw the shadow kill Renly... we already have Lord of the Rings.

Each to his own.

A friend I watch the show with IRL said the same exact thing.

Part of me agrees, but I'm willing to keep an open mind. There's enough good for me to overlook little things.

When I first started watching Game of Thrones I had no knowledge, whatsoever of the books. I was reminded of "I, Claudius" and other such master works of political intrigue and power struggles. I think it could have held up very well on that basis.

Still, I watch and am very entertained. Guess the numbers are on the author's side.

If you didnt think that is what the WWs were doing with the baby boys then you just dont think about things. ESPECIALLY if you are a book reader.

My only vice with the show is the magic/supernatural. I'm a realist. I believe in titties and gore.

I like the dragons and controlling the wolf and all that (def not normally my thing) but that vagina monster really didn't do it for me.

The baby dragons kind of bummed me out. The skeletons playing cowboys and indians were a little hard to swallow at first too, no homo.
