I don't watch SP, but apparently it was Joffrey's death. But, the episode had a ton of "fake" spoilers and that one real one.

I saw the episodes when they first aired in November and the only real spoiler was Joffrey being poisoned.

This is correct. It happens at the end of the wiener song. When I linked to that song in my OP of the Middle Ground thread I was careful to find a version that stopped before the spoiler.

They'll act devastated, but unless they are psychopaths themselves they will be happy with the events.

Why not? The show's success mostly relies on shocking non-book readers' with incredible twists.

those episodes were so great.

And I wouldn't even consider that a spoiler. We all know Joffrey bites the bucket, but anyone that hears that would just think it's normal South Park humor and wouldn't second guess it
