This is getting out of control. It's really a simple concept...If you aren't a reader, then don't post in the reader thread. If you are a reader, then don't post in the non-reader thread.

Additionally, I don't think it's our job to police their thread for potential spoilers. They have stated pretty obviously that they don't want our "help" of any kind. So, if they get spoiled by some jackass, then frick em.

I won't lie, I messed up. I didn't realize there was such a big GoT following here until last night. I posted a background on Dontos and succession rules because I saw a lot of questions about it. I learned real quick I'm not wanted there haha.

I've read some of the books and also watching the show. Which book is the "purple wedding" from? I'd just like an idea of where we are in the show in relation to the books.

We're well into book 3 now. There was one scene from book 5.

Do you think it's possible that we could have a few admins specifically from April-June every year to monitor the GoT threads??

Not thrilled with the Shae/Tyrion break up that they added. Now it will look like he drove her to betraying him. It's a subtle difference, but it ultimately flips the dynamic of Tyrion being betrayed by someone that he loved who was only using him to Shae feeling betrayed and used by him. It creates more sympathy for her when (if) he kills her. I will be genuinely pissed if he doesn't; it's a big part of his arc.

Yea this bothered me.

Tyrion is shown as pushing her away to save her. The show has gone to great pains to show this repeatedly. The audience will remember this when it comes time for Tyrion's trial and she starts talking about him wanting to be called her "Lion of Lannister" and consider her a stupid little bitch for it.

TD has a few admins, where many are usually admins of certain boards (bear from Jungle Book, and Beach Boys song here) from what I gather, all the admins are Hodors, or in the case of the big three, don't watch the show.

I counted one confirmed admin.

But again, this stupid Ninja-admin system we have here...

And Coco is a show watcher.

We really need to get those two together to patrol these threads a bit better.

I was wondering that too...having an admin who has read the books who can spot trolls would be a big help. But since GoT has continued to grow each season I was wondering if they're having trouble trying to pinpoint every single poster who is breaking the rules.

But I will say that a certain admin did his job when it came to Blueballs. "Someone" asked a favor and he came through.
