It was pretty much stated last year that there would be no Strong Belwas. Yes, he was a cool character, but he isn't really that essential.

Agreed. I always got he and Selmy's character in the book confused anyway.

The spoiler bitching is starting to get strong in the nonreaders thread, and they are bitching about things that aren't even remotely close to being spoilers.
If I were to ever decide to get myself permanently banned from TD, I know where I would begin my meltdown. Imagine the reaction if you were to tell them what happens at the end of Dance.

I remember when that dick did just that b/c somebody wouldn't apologize or something along those lines. Plenty of book readers did their best to cover it up so I was skeptical. Now after reading the books...........yep, he was just a dick.
ETA: It was SoS he revealed.

yeah, they are definitely being little bitches. All I said was that in the books, Arya helped the Northmen take Harrenhall but in the show Jaqen killed the guards last season and got my post whacked.

I reading feast right now so i am new to the nerd thread. Last season i enjoyed a few clearfication from the books every now and then; except one of you frickers told me the fate of the tickler. Everytime an Ayra chapter came up for two books i would think "this has to be it".

If I was a tv show watcher I'd want to know the differences in between the book and the show. They were probably thinking that she had met up with rob. Oh man I just can't wait for the total freak out if they make you think Arya is dead till season 4

I'm reading a book called "The Gilded Rune" wherein the dwarven race is subject to a plague called the "stoneplague". It's so bad that even the mention of it sends groups of dwarves running in panic.
That's what the no-spoilers thread reminds me of.
Someone says: "book".
They react with:

Highly doubt they don't show Arya until Season 4 after the events of the Red Wedding. They'll risk losing too many viewers. Just a minute or two long scene with the Hound is all that is necessary.

Why did the show cut this?

anyone else besides me think they don't follow this to the tee?
I.E. they might kill Starks, but not Stark?
Posted on 4/1/13 at 5:54 pm to Dire Wolf
because Arya actually murdered the Tickler in the books but Jaqen killed him in the show?

This just reminded me why I was angry at the end of last season.
Short of Viper/Mountain and RW, that was one of the most epic endings to a chapter. i could not believe they cut it from the show, and went low detail on Harrenhall.
ETA: I've heard the audiobook narrarator NAILS this part!

Nope. Robb, Cat, and Grey Wolf have to die to continue the story imo. No real other way

Which one? Robb or Lady Cat? They are both getting the axe.

The only way they don't kill Robb Stark is if Tony Stark flies in and saves him.
