Sansa couldn’t get word over to Jon?

Good lord. fricking Sansa bitched and moaned how Jon didn’t ask for her advice. Honey, you’re a grown up. If want to speak up, speak up. And when Jon does ask her, she says she doesn’t know. Man, I wanted her dead right then and there.

Of course, her only responded to Jon about not telling him about the Vale Knights is “I’m sorry”. Well, explain that to the parents and children of dead soldiers.

Flawed as it was, I still enjoy the long night as an episode. I was even still enjoying the show without many complaints all the way through there. I’m not overly critical of season 6 and 7.

The Bells and can go straight to hell though.

The second Arya stabbed the Night King it’s as if all the passion for this show immediately dissipated. You had 4 and only 4 options to kill the Night King, and in this specific order:

1) Jon
2) Dany
3) Bran
4) Jaime

No one else is on the table. The years of prophesy and suspense... all for nothing. Ever have a girlfriend you were loyal to and she says one thing and you completely fall out of love with her and ask her to get the frick out of your house? That’s what it felt like. I enjoyed the final 3 episodes for just being an utter dumpster fire.

Maybe George can get me back if that fat frick by some miracle finishes, but I’m lighting ADOS on fire and not finishing it if the book also ends with “Who has a better story than Bran the Broken?”

I will always feel bad for the kids born during GOT’s run who were named after the evil dictator Targaryen because their idiot parents were unable to recognize that she was always the villain of the piece.

I’ve never cold turkeyed something before like I did after the last season was over. Haven’t watched a single episode since the finale. What an abomination.

I feel even worse for the kids named Khaleesi since their parents were dumb enough to think that was Dany’s actual name.

I feel relatively confident GRRM planned for Dany to burn down King's Landing. I don't think it will be the retardedness of the show where the bells set her off, but will be built up for two+ books, not two episodes. It just seems like something he would do.
definitely agree. Her burning down kings landing was always going to happen and could have been amazing. They totally botched it though

Season 7 was worse than Season 8, IMO

Season 5 was slow but I can’t write the show off completely at that point because the end of season 6 is so fricking awesome

Seasons 1-4 are basically perfect

Everything dumb about season 8 started in season 7

We got 1 filler episode to start, and then every character agreed to the dumbest plan in fricking history

Which was executed in the dumbest way imaginable on screen

I’ll take Dany burning down the city over the zombie hunt any day

As good as the end of season 6 was, serious signs of decline were present there too, particularly Jon’s totally botched resurrection. I mean he comes back from the dead and the first thing they write to highlight that pivotal moment is Tormund joking about his small pecker.

Death of the show was secured with the wright hunt.

Tyrion’s character died in season 5.

Arya was so well trained throughout her time

Idk why people act like jon snow had to kill or she couldn't of been smart to enough to the ol blade drop open belly and stick em

She'd become an assassin who could fight brienne and hold her own or spar

The jump argue all u want but maybe a pile of the dead idc anymore I enjoyed that episode except how the dothraki rode right into the shite like that smh why not with the dragon just like against Jamie

I’ll tell you when the first sign of shite was to come came: Season 3 when they had the Pod dick subplot. The rest of the season was amazing, but it was a sign to come when the writers didn’t have GRRM’s brilliant material to work witg.
