Crazy that I have zero intention to ever watch what I thought was the GOAT show ever again because of the last two seasons

Hey, let's build up Winter as if it will be something that will at least cover 1 or 2 seasons on the show, but cut it down to a couple hours so we can work on some other shows.

Remember when episode 2 happened and some of us knew the season was doomed but the majority of the braindead retards on here thought it was EPIC and no way D&D would let us down. I remember

What took you so long that Episode 2 of Season 8 was when you noticed?

The season before it was obvious the trainwreck had begun as they were just flying through plot points.

Season 5 was just ok. 6 was an uptick in quality over 5.

7&8 were dogshit outside of a few cool moments in S7

The absolutely epic 2 episode ending to season 6 had me in denial about everything for a long time.

I still don't hate everything about the last season like most people. I thought the acting was great, the music was phenomenal, and it looked pretty. I didn't even hate where everyone ended up so much, but how the characters got there (RUSHED).

The writing was just soooo so so bad.

I remember arguing about Super Arya and her apparent ability to defy gravity.

Buddy I was on the hate train during like season 6, but I had a sliver of hope that they'd land the plane.

Then that second episode happened and I knew the show was doomed

I knew from this point on that the season wouldn't recover. What a stupid fricking way to end that storyline. IIRC correctly alot of people on this board (and the rest of the internet to be fair) were defending this episode, sorta in denial of how shitty it was. Then when the next 3 episodes rolled out and the end left a bad taste, people retroactively went back and said how lame The Long Night episode was.

Also they ripped off the famous Raptor kitchen scene from Jurassic Park in this episode.

I fully expected Arya to take King's Landing and Highgarden all by herself after that scene.

Personally I think the shark jumping moment was when Jon went north of the wall to get a wight to convince batshit crazy Cersei to join their cause.

I actually liked Episode 2 of Season 8. Only passable episode of the season.

I don't think anyone or at least anyone fair is blaming the cast and crew. They did as good as they possibly could have with the extremely shitty scripts that D&D gave them.
