Just started the book a few days ago and I've just caught up to where the show is now. I'm not sure if it was ever mentioned in the show but in the book Ned is constantly haunted by the last words of Lyanna Stark saying "promise me Ned". Now that Ned is dead do we ever find out what he promised her? Is this significant at all?

joffry might be the best antagonist I've seen in a show in a long long time. This kid nails his part at being the most unlikeable kid in the world.

Pretty amazing episode. They basically pulled a Psycho and I haven't seen that in a long time. You simply don't see characters like that killed off like that, and I can't get over it.
