I think one of the most frequently recurring lines in the book is:

"Hodor" said Hodor.

eta: Of course Hodor is not his real name, just the only word he says, so everyone calls him Hodor. I can't remember his real name off the top of my head.

Hodor's real name is Walder according to Old Nan (his Great-Grandmother?)

Wonder if he is any relation to the Lord Frey?
Wouldn't surprise me if old Nan is from north of the wall. She may have some non-human blood as well being old as she is.

Old Nan is not the only old woman he uses to share important information.

Loved this episode.

Damn GRRM for not giving us any more info on Syrio. That was what I was looking forward to the most from episode 8.

Gawd damn this show is so damn on point! I must now finish my book and go and get this series. I am usually not a fantasy nut. HBO, though, TRULY makes some incredible shite.

I've never even thought of this until now. That old bastard has fricked everyone else. Why not a giant?

Did the dance instructor survive? "What do we tell the God of Death?" That was a great scene, espectially fighting with a wooden sword?

Not today! I gotta think he was able to get away. It seemed so effortless for him to take down the others with only a wooden sword.

He was fighting like five guys with real swords after his wooden sword broke, so I doubt it

Defiantly one of my favorite characters in the show. I want to see him with a real sword.

Syrio is the man. I hope he lived.

The fact that they didn't show if he lives or died leads me to believe he survived.

I think this show lets you know when a character dies. I think the swordsman and the uncle north of the wall is still alive.

Killing off characters is what this show seems to be about and they love to show you how grisly the death is

I don't think there is a need for him. He's taught Arya what seems like everything she needs to know. I have a feeling that "Not today" is going to show up a lot with her.
