So there's 3 eps left this season?
This is definitely the best new show on TV.

I've been away from home for over two weeks, just now getting back to BR can't wait to sit in my own living room for this epic GoT.

Does anyone know if they plan on ending the story of Game of Thrones this season, and moving on to Clash of Kings?
I have not read the books unfortunately, so I am unaware of how far the show is.
TIA

I thought season one was the first book. If they end the series the way book one ended......that would be a great way to end it imo.

Ever start on BCOF for your class?

Actually planning on reading the entire Oxford history of US this summer in chronological order so I'm on Glorious Cause then on to Empire of Liberty. I think BCoF is the fourth volume.

Which they wont be able to do for the 2nd and 3rd novels unless they extend the season length to 14 episodes or more.
Also, tonight's episode is the only one written by the Author of the novels.

True, the other books are too long and have too much info.
IIRC, he will write the Battle of Blackwater next season.

Best of luck....did you start w/ Colonial America or Glorious Cause? I attempted it as well but became one of the many casualties of the Jacksonian volume..dealt WAY too much with the economics of the time for my taste..but picked back up with McPherson's BCOF. I believe the total volume count up to this point is around 12 though some are disputed I believe with a few more added in the last few years ...Glorious Cause is excellent tho..again, good luck and hope to hear your thoughts as you go on..and which direction you take with the volumes..heckm it may inspire me to give it another shot

I'm pretty sure they won't have any problems with doing that.

But the economics of Jacksonian US are pivotal to the period.

I started with Glorious Cause, it has been a painfully slow pace because I've been underlining and writing notes in the margins. I'm about to give that up and just read. I'm rather weak in economic history, it is a shame that as many intreating storylines as there are during the Jacksonian era the book focuses on that. I understand the importance of his war on the BUS, Biddle, the Panic of 1837 but I could understand the disappointment of reading a book which over emphasizes that to the detriment of other topics.

that was good shite!!!
I have a few questions. How do all these letters keep being delivered so quickly? Is there like a pony express going between the kingdoms? Why not intercept the letters and them nobody would know who killed who, when, and where for a while right?
Also, who built "the wall"?
