He's a Greyjoy and the ward of Eddard Stark. Since he was a boy he was raised in Winterfell but isn't in the Stark family.

Have you read the books more than once? I've been hearing that people who have are seeing things that they missed the first time. I've read GoT once so I know that main plot points and story but from discussions with a friend who has read it twice I feel like I may have missed some of the in depth things.

And another thing, Renly is a pussy on the show. He talked alot of shite in the book and seemed like a badass. Maybe he'll be like Omar. But the whole being afraid of blood..wtf?
And yeah Cat's sister and son are just as creepy as they are in the book.

I was wondering why he seemed to know so much more than I did. I'm on Clash of Kings but when I finish Dance with Dragons I'll re-read the first five books since I'm sure I'll have time before book six comes out.
