Source material we already know and already know leads to Bran being king so any sort of dramatic tension is immediately undercut by the big crippled elephant in the room

Not saying they won’t go there, but the story and books it’s based on don’t present it like that. The women involved aren’t any “better” than the men, arguably they’re far worse.
