Underrated: Rob Riggle
Overrated: David Letterman
Underrated: Nick DiPaolo
Overrated: Dennis Leary
Underrated: Artie Lange
Overrated: Andy Dick
Underrated: Demetri Martin
Overrated: Rosie O'Donnell
Underrated: Joel McHale
Overrated: Ron White
Please know that I am in no way saying that any of the "overrated" people aren't funny. Im simply saying that IMHO they are overrated. Im sure some butthurt will ensue.

I don't see how Andy Dick is overrated. I thought everyone hated him. Although maybe you're saying just hating him isn't enough, which is understandable.

joel mchale is not underrated, fans of community wont shut the frick up about him.... but i still think he is funny

No he's not. He's perfectly rated. He's the hot act right now.
I think DePaulo was a great example of underrated but you make it hard to take you seriously when you put David Letterman as overrated. That's insane and I'm not even some Lettermanophite.

I agree with all of you're underrated except for Andy Dick. I mean I have only seen him in a few things but he has cracked me up a few times. His character in Old School cracked me up. And this MTV show he had a while back was pretty good. Basically a dumbed down/ funny The Apprentice.
Jack Black is freaking underrated. He kills me in everything he is in. I don't understand the hate for him around here. One of my favorite comedic actors.

No love for Envy, Shallow Hal, Nach Libre, Bernie, School of Rock, Year One, Tropic Thunder, Saving Silverman, Be Kind Rewind, Orange freaking County, High Fidelity?
Orange County and Nacho Libre being two of my favorite comedies in the last ten years or so. Though I could understand how someone couldn't like Nacho Libre and Year One for that matter. They're not for everybody.

Hes like Adam Sandler post 90s for me. He found his one character and manorisms and has been banking on that ever since
Some of the movies you listed I found funny, but they were more funny in spite of him instead of because of him
