From the beginning - Rewatching Daredevil on Netflix

My god, this is so much better than any crap you'll see on The CW. On so many levels.
Daredevil is the best thing from Marvel put on any screen. Movie or TV. Period.

Best out of anything Marvel? It’s great but...nah

Easily. No contest.
Better than anything else on Netflix. Punisher , comes close, but after that...
Change my mind. What even comes close?

Daredevil is one of the better “Marvel” products. It’s a shame that Disney went full control freak, so the storylines of the Defenders, Elektra, Daredevil, etc. couldn’t be more fleshed out.
The first few episodes with The Punisher are great TV.

Daredevil on Netflix is great tv. Season 2 with the introduction of the best Punisher ever is perhaps my favorite season of tv, period.
The other Marvel Netflix shows are good, but none rise to the level of Daredevil.

I watched Daredevil when it originally came out. I remembered Karen's intro and all, but rewatching it was like seeing it for the first time. The action, the characters, the scene set ups... it really drew me in like few shows or movies have. The stark difference between this and practically everything else I've seen is apparent. This show is done with purpose and exceedingly well.

Charlie Cox is one of the greatest comic book castings ever. Right up there with RDJ and Evans as Cap.
He owned the role so hard people thought he was legitimately blind in other auditions.

Daredevil is good TV but come on it doesn’t touch the original Iron Man or Infinity War.

The two earlier ones were the best (Seasons 1 and 2 of Daredevil, Season 1 of Jessica Jones). Luke Cage was good, not great, and Iron Fist was just terrible. Punisher helped redeem some of that and was good in its own right.
I'm personally a huge fan of Season 1 of Jessica Jones as well, and one thing that both Season 1 of Daredevil and JJ do right is villain development. Fisk and Kilgrave are the two best villains across the MCU, with only Loki and Thanos coming close.

DD is the best series, but season 1 of JJ is the best marvel product to me. Season 2 was such a let down though, hard to move on without the best villain ever for Marvel TV/Movies though.

I remembered thinking at the end of season 1 how hard it would be to replace Kilgrave... but his powers did mean that leaving him alive was going to be much more problematic than leaving Fisk alive.
David Tennant made such an amazing villain though.

In true blood and daredevil, she is two for two in her roles.

Daredevil - awesome
Punisher - outstanding
Jessica Jones - never got around to watching
Luke Cage - am I the only one who couldn't make it through the season? I really wanted to like this show, but every episode all I could think was "How many Carhartt sweatshirts does this guy own?"

You should definitely watch the first season of Jessica Jones. Absolutely worth the watch.
As far as Luke Cage, the sweatshirt thing didn't bug me - but...
***SPOILERS****
When Cottonmouth dies, the new villain isn't even remotely interesting. Mahershala Ali was an amazing villain but I didn't include him because the dumbass writers offed him midway through the season. A full arc, and he ranks right up there with Kilgrave.
