Well if we go back to Lost obviously the two main guys were Jack and Locke followed by Kate and Sawyer.

However every other character got their run in throughout the seasons. Hurley, Charlie, Sayid, Claire, Jin, Sun, Michael, Desmond, etc..

Just watched the episode 10 recap. Holy crap didn’t realize how much stuff I glossed over that old girl from the bus Tilly or Lilly had done. Knowing Boyd had ventured off into the forest, giving the Dr. the morphine that crazy bitch almost OD’d on, I did take notice of her knowing Fatima was pregnant, having 7 kids and having 7 people in her prayer circle and there are 7 ghost kids in the cave on slabs. She is suspect as frick.

Seeing the dates on the lighthouse stairs going back to 1504 with the most current date being 1978 I believe. I’m guessing those coincide with bad shite happening or people arriving. Starting to get a Roanoke colony vibe about the town. Maybe the town transported itself back in the day from a coastal area to its present wherever or whenever the hell it is now. Would explain a lighthouse in the middle of the woods.

Loved the finale but still want to know who or what was on the radio at the end of season 1. I’m with those that think the reflection is meaningless. Just the way the sun made her look.

I bitched about the writers forgetting about fat ghost kid a few weeks ago but here he is at the end playing an important part.

Can’t wait for next season.

I’m here to discuss the most puzzling thing on the show… who is the naked interracial couple that victor drew a picture of that is hanging in Fatima’s room? Victor draws things that he sees and it looks like his drawing, who is it?

This show has been great so far, hopefully it will stay going forward too. Can the town sleep again now?

I think so, he destroyed the music box and the other people woke up. At least that’s the way I remember it.

So that was a one off villain of a season? How odd which I guess this is going the way of lost which seems to be the common comparison here too.

Stumbled on this thread about a month ago and decided to give the show a shot. I was hooked from the beginning. Just finished up season 2 yesterday and I feel like I'm starting to get a little tired and antsy with not ever getting any answers. We just keep getting more questions! I don't have a problem with that as long as I feel like we make some sort of progress along the way, and I'm not feeling that. This just feels like we are getting deeper and deeper!

Either way, I'm going to keep watching for sure just because I'm too invested now :lol

Oh and yea, that bitch Tilly is gonna be crucial

I mean, the last ten minutes or so of S2 definitely advanced things a ton and gave answers, even if slightly different than what I was expecting.

Ill be curious what direction they go with Jim. At one point during season 2 I thought they were going to off him. He was quickly losing his mind. Him and Russell really were a powder keg that eventually exploded.

There is definitely something to the theory of them creating the nightmares with their own mind. Too many coincidences of it with the cicadas and civil war actors as the main two.

I also thought it was interesting how they just kinda glazed over the silver bullet theory. Shot a couple guys on the run but never really went looking for the body. Just briefly mentioned while the intention of the trip was looking for Russell, a guy they probably shouldve sent packing to the woods a while back.

Yeah I’d like to see the focus shift back to Jim honestly. He’s the most “normal” of the bunch I think, and outside of Jade he’s really the only person that seems to truly be trying to figure shite out and find answers. And earlier in the season the focus shifted off of him a bit.

And the nightmares/fears thing, there’s definitely something to that for sure. Ole boy chained to the wall said something like the monsters were just the tip of the iceberg and that there are far worse things out there. So I hope we see some of that (and I assume this sleep paralysis/dream state thing is part of that).

I suspect next season we should get some answers with Tabitha being out now. And I’d still really love an episode dedicated to Victor and his survival all alone as a kid in this place. That could be a great way to shed some light on the place itself and how things work (the monsters, the folklore, the food/animals, the electricity, etc.). I wouldn’t even care if it doesn’t advance the plot really, I’d just like to see that and get some great historical information about this place and how a child who lost everything and everyone could survive on his own and figure shite out.

Jade is GOAT

He steals every scene he is in

He’s character is a great foil for Jim…but they need to get Jim out of the dazed crazy scientist mode

It’s Lost 2.0, but I’m ok with that. If Amazon put FROM available to regular subscribers VS the MGM subscription it would be more popular.

Curious to know what you consider answers out of that? I get that it showed the connections between a few things, but I didn't really see any answers to anything. If anything, there was one more really big question added, where/ when the frick is Tabitha?

Not arguing, maybe you did get some answers and I'm curious to know what those were for you.

Well she “woke up” from a world where dreams/nightmare materialize overtime

I think that says a lot

So we are supposed to believe they are all just dreaming??

If so, thats a pretty big cop out. Again I think its just another question added

Seriously? She got out. That’s about as big of a reveal as possible for the show. And we also found out how: that the lighthouse is the key to that, and the little ghost boy saying this is the only way.

Outside of the huge answer of “can people leave this place?” we also know how. And we know that the lighthouse is more important than previously thought, what with Boyd and Sara seeing it, Victor’s mom/family going there, etc. and it also opens up the door that Victor may not be an orphan. His mom and sister may have survived and got out. Obviously we don’t know what happens yet when someone leaves, so we’ll have to wait for that. But for example, Victor said he found his mother’s body lying on the ground. But that may mean she “died” in the ghost town but actually made it out. So we could potentially get a Victor reunion at some point. (And again, I’m not saying his mom didn’t die, just saying we don’t know how it works yet. Like Jim could find Tabitha’s body where she fell and think she’s dead, when she’s actually awake and alive in the real world.)

You typed all that to explain the answer to 1 question… can they get out.

LAnd with that answer, all it did was create more questions. Where did she go? Or perhaps when did she go? Is she in the same place, just a different time period? The monsters had a very 50s vibe to them, but the hospital seemed pretty modern. I figured the lighthouse would be key when Boyd and Sara saw it on their walkabout.

Who was on the other end of the radio at the end of S1? What caused these monsters? What is the symbol that Jade keeps seeing? What’s Tilly’s involvement in this? I could go on….

It’s kind of an interesting thought about a time travel go. That could explain the Boyd thing and that the light of the torch might have connected him back in time at the old tower. The lighthouse might be a connector between the present and their present also.

The monsters only come out at night and live in the dark and light is a key to other stuff.

I mean, I went into more than just that. And I even specifically said that was the big reveal and it came along with other stuff.

But hey, you go ahead and ignore the rest and bitch about the show I guess. Go for it.
