Qyburn in the show is vaguely creepy. Qyburn in the book is full-on serial killer. He was a part of the Bloody Mummers, which were left out of the show, probably for being too ridiculously violent and repulsive.

Qyburn has no respect for life and is largely based on Josef Mengele. He’d do the same thing if he were on the other side. Qyburn isn’t petty and would just think “wrong place, wrong time”.

When Robb Stark first sees Qyburn alive at Harrenhal Robb says “you’re lucky to be alive” and Qyburn replies “yes lucky” but he says it in a weird way. Why was Qynurn the only person the Lannister Army left alive at Harrenhal anyway. Everyone else was slaughtered?
