I'm guessing his suit will have a ton of cgi like Green Lantern.

Looks like a kids halloween costume purchased from the discount isle at K-Mart.

its getting to the point that this flick will only have to be as good as the first two F4 flicks for people to say its good b/c expectations are so low.

Is there anything in terms of news about this movie that has not sounded even worse than the first one?

This will be bad and don't give me that crap that they are just making the movie for the rights. They spent a tiny amount of money on the original crappy rights movie. They are spending big money on this and from all indications it might top Catwoman for biggest comic book movie fail.

I don't understand why it is so hard to make a good FF movie.

Because they don't trust the source material translating. Hence, big cloud Galactus. They just need to go all in and do something big, but they won't. They went for "hip" and "cool," instead and that rarely works.

I do understand the fear that a giant dude in a chair might be hard for some people to stomach although the cloud was even goofier than a big dude in a chair.

Heck, if they didn't want to show a super giant dude in a chair, then just make him 7 or 8 feet tall with the standard costume. That would have been better than a cloud.

Kept expecting V'Ger to come out of the cloud.

this times eleventy billion.

They don't understand the source material so they don't trust it.

This time around the casting (the storms) more then shows it.

I hope they spend about 100 million dollars on it.

And make zero.

And yet, Marvel/Disney just had the biggest movie of the summer and they had a large portion of the movie take place in a caved out giant skull.

Marvel really has cracked whatever code there seems to be to make all this work. Studios that refuse to follow that lead when it's been shown to work do so at their own peril.

I saw him at the Frostop on Government. But I didn't put two and two together.

Spoiler: He was sharing fries with a shitty looking Mole Man.

Exactly. If you understand and believe in it, and find others to do the same, it can work. And work very well.

They missed their opportunity to cash in on the pirate craze.

We shall see if Marvel can convert some tough source material with Dr. Strange.

They already fracked Mandarin because they didn't trust in mysticism.

Strange will show if they really are on top of their game.
