Finally watched "Nefarious" last night...

Wow, what a movie. Nothing too over top. Just enough context to make you think about the world and the people in it.
If you haven't seen it, make time. It's only hour and half movie.

His dialogue describing the fall of man from Satan's viewpoint was chilling.

I've listened many a conversation with exorcists, and they all say that this is the most accurate representation of a possession.
It's an excellent movie, and I think about it a lot.
This and Ex Machina are two movies that haunt me, philosophically.

I remember this took FOREVER to finally hit streaming, and I watched it as soon as it did.
Excellent movie.
I remember thinking that the dude playing the prisoner/Nefarious should have won some awards.

Excellent movie, if you enjoyed reading The Screwtape Letters you'll love this movie. Sean Patrick Flanery did an amazing job at pivoting instantly between his two roles.

critics didnt like it, and i'll just assume that all of their reviews were done in good faith and not agenda based at all.

Didn’t the movie itself have an agenda? And I say that as someone who has enjoyed the movie for more than one viewing.

an agenda? i dont know, i havent seen it. i presume the movie has a very strong faith-based message though, so if you are calling that an agenda, well then i guess so. all movies have messages and themes, it's practically woven in the concept of storytelling.
journalists (and i use that term very generously in regards to film critics) should NOT have an agenda when critiquing a movie other than an objective look at the story and quality of the filmmaking. and i seriously, seriously doubt many critics gave this movie a fair shake based on its merits alone.

I’m with you, Hoodie, the cheeseburger bit killed me…great movie. My dad was a big C.S. Lewis fan, and like a previous poster said, this was akin to the Screwtape Letters.

I was on the edge of my seat the whole movie especially the last 30 minutes and the ending. Thanks for you for making a thread, and I’m recommending this movie to others.

If you click on my link to the movie on Prime, it's actually free this month. I had my VPN on earlier, and it doesn't recognize that I have a subscription with it on.
