Interested to hear the board’s thoughts. I love a good high fantasy or period piece with lots of swashbuckling and adventure. Fair warning, my list is heavy on comedies, so I’d like to hear about some more serious movies to try out.
Braveheart: this should be obvious. Just a totally badass movie that takes some serious liberties with the historical account.
Kingdom of Heaven: beautifully shot, well acted, and an excellent nuanced portrayal of the crusades which is pretty rare in film. I’ve heard the directors cut improves upon it, but I have always enjoyed the original.
A Knight’s Tale: the perfect mix of romance, action, sports movie, period piece, charming anachronism, and somehow simultaneously telling a heartfelt story while also playing much for a goof makes this a movie that I cannot imagine anyone disliking. This movie gets rewatched constantly.
Robin Hood: Men in Tights: did someone say charmingly anachronistic? This is the perfect spoof. It’s even better than it’s source material, and Carey Elwis can speak with an English accent.
Monty Python and the Holy Grail: literally the holy grail of spoofs. One of the greatest movies ever made just bursting with silliness and quotable lines.

If you liked the original, then watch the full director's cut. It's over 3 hours, but enjoyable and everything makes more sense, and the characters are more understandable. A lot of substantive plot material got cut in the theatrical version.
[e]: Just want to add Valhalla Rising. I love Mads Mikkelson and he's great in a very quiet, but very spontaneously violent movie.

A Knight's Tale is my guilty pleasure.
King Arthur (2004) was set in the year 467, right on the fence between the dark ages and the Middle ages. That's the period I like most. Kiera Knightley painted blue was nice.
Robin Hood (1991) was good despite Costner's terrible accent.
I thought The King (2019) was near perfect but apparently I'm in the minority. Outlaw King (2018) was nearly just as good, about Robert the Bruce.
Braveheart is a classic.
My personal favorite is The Sword and the Stone (1963) and Robin Hood (1973), both Disney cartoons.

Conan is supposed to be set when Atlantis was still around, so no
although I've never really understood how it could have so much steel in that time period...

Knight’s Tale:
Great movie and very well acted. Sound track is superb except for the omission of "Foxy Lady"....think there was an issue getting the rights to use it in the film.
I love how it plays off the Canterbury Tales....an ingenious idea for a movie. Just a lot of fun.
