Another good one.

Think that was a Valentines episode. Niles is the GOAT

Ham Radio

Frasier tries to direct an old-time radio drama for KACL, but his over-directing turns the show into a complete disaster - just as Niles predicted.

I have a special reason for loving the episode "Look Before You Leap": LINK

As others have said ITT, just a great series from start to finish.

Since you brought it up, John Ritter.

Frasier is my favorite show ever, and my favorite episode is the Halloween costume party.

I'll defer to your judgment on Knotts, sonce I haven't watched Andy Griffith in 25 years, but I honestly don't know how someone could watch even a cursory amount of Seinfeld, Frasier, Modern Family, and Malcolm in the Middle and come away thinking Michael Richards was the really talented one.

Watching the costume party episode now...I know where it’s heading having seen it already, but each episode is compelling enough for multiple rewatches.

Man,there are so many classics, and many have been named ITT. One that hasn't been mentioned that came to mind is the episode where Frasier tries to play matchmaker between his new program director and Daphne. Unfortunately for Frasier, the program director is gay and he thinks Frasier is as well.

Not sure of the season or episode title.

Found it. "The Matchmaker" S2/E3

I'm going to rewatch it. I liked it when I was younger but I'm looking forward to the rewatch.

Although not quite as subtle as the other two, Burrell is about the best in the business, currently, for physical comedy.

But, DHP's overall performance as Niles, non-verbal acting, timing, reactions - I mean, after all, Kelsey Grammer is no slouch with timing, react takes, facial expression and he barely held his own with David Hyde Pierce over the course of the series.

The swordfight with Maris' Bavarian fencing instructor is one of the greatest scenes in the show.

And re: "The Matchmaker" in Season 2, they recycled the "someone thinks Frasier is gay" plot a couple times, most notably the episode in Season 10 or 11 when he dates Patrick Stewart to get a seat on the Opera board.

Martin's speech about his chair is one of the best moments for me

quote:

Martin: Okay, I'll tell you what chair I want. I want the chair I was sitting in when I watched Neil Armstrong take his first step on the moon. And when the US hockey team beat the Russians in the '80 Olympics. I want the chair I was sitting in the night you called me to tell me I had a grandson. I want the chair I was in all those nights, when your mother used to wake me up with a kiss after I'd fallen asleep in front of the television. You know, I still fall asleep in it. And every once in a while, when I wake up, I still expect your mother to be there, ready to lead me off to bed... Oh, never mind. It's only a chair. Come on, Eddie.

"Seat of Power", starring Dr Cox from Scrubs as Niles' bully. Also happened to be a good advertisement for skilled tradesmen.
