Sarah Conner had a great arc going from waitress to badass in the Terminator franchise. Jack going from a man of science to man of faith in Lost is up there too. Rey's arc is Star Wars on the other hand...

Jesse Pinkman was one of my favorites.

She was running for her life.
But look to Working Girl.
Melanie Griffith's arse had a great arc.
And she went from Secretary to whatever.
Not gonna make it Mustafa.
Gonna make it.

More subtle, but intriguing in its slow reveal of the character arc was Don Draper in Mad Men.
By the end of the series my opinion had radically changed on Draper, and I immediately rewatched the series with a brand new perspective.
The amazing thing about Breaking Bad is the complex character arcs of practically every single major character. It still blows me away.

But we don't see her evolve. She's just one then she's the other. We know why but we don't see it.

quote:I never liked Pinkman. Always felt that everything bad that happened to Walt was Pinkman's fault. Walt would've been living the good life if he would've cut ties with Jesse in the second season.
Jesse Pinkman was one of my favorites
Just my opinion.

Butchers Boy in game of thrones.
He is killed by the hound nearly instantly on the series

Jaime Lannister
Book: Yes
Show: No. Jaime fricking Cersei after she blows up the Sept and not killing her was a betrayal to the character, not to mention several other instances where they diverge from the book.
