Walter White is the obvious answer for me.
Thomas in Downton Abbey was intriguing to me. I spent 5 and a half seasons despising him and they somehow made me feel ok about things turning out alright for him.

Peggy was ungrateful bitch...frankly.
Never really grew out of it. Screwed over Pete; took advantage of Don's largess/philanthropy to her and then complained when she wasn't given as much credit as him from Day 1.
I don't see any Peggy evolution.
Her greatest leaps were in Season 1 alone. From then on she just thought her shite didn't stink once Don took the unprecedented steps to make her a copy-writer.
After Season 1, she continually complained about not getting her due.
