And for the OP, Sandler movies...

1. Wedding Singer is as close as he gets to being more than just Adam Sandler in a stupid script.

2. Billy Madison - epitome of Sandler (and gains the #2 spot because Veronica Vaughn is hotter than Virginia in Happy Gilmore.)

3. Happy Gilmore - Takes Billy Madison to the 2nd degree

2nd team All-American - Waterboy

Honorable Mention - 50 First Dates

(btw, the Grown Ups movies sucked)

I'll take this list and agree. Wedding Singer is so damn funny to me, so many subtle things in it. In my opinion, it is one that really holds its humor long term.

The grown up movies are made as family movies as are most of his movies now. That is why most old school Sandler fans don't like his new stuff, it isn't slap stick and over the top like his old stuff.

As far as honorable mentions, I think I would include Deeds, Bulletproof, and Anger Management

Happy Gilmore, Waterboy, and Billy Madison are the gold standard. Bedtime Stories is extremely underrated.

I've watched Click a lot. It's one of those movies where I have to watch it every time it's on

Waterboy for me. One of the first "adult" (term used very loosely) comedies I saw and even though I didn't "get" all the jokes at ~7, I still was delighted by Sandler's schtick in it.

My favorite is Spanglish. I really enjoyed that movie.

Apparently, I was the only one I looked the movie up and discovered it lost almost 40,000,000 dollars.

Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison easily.
I love 50 first dates too.
I like pretty much every Sandler movie except that twins one. That was terrible.

Reign on Me is a good one. Under rated, nothing funny about it. If you have kids you'll probably cry as a grown man.

It has to be Happy Gilmore.

I like 50 First Dates, but Happy Gilmore will always be my favorite.

Top 3 have to be The Waterboy, Billy Madison, and Happy Gilmore.

But The Wedding Singer, Mr. Deeds, Big Daddy, and Anger Management aren't far behind them.
