I know it has become popular to bash the show, now that Gary and crew have decided they all collectively hate it, but I thought it was tits.

Max was boring, but it seems like he was supposed to be. All the B0S squires were bland.

Lucy was great and Cooper was great.

Ending was not bad, but not strong.

I only played a handful of minutes of 4, so I was hesitant to watch. I tried The Witcher with no frame of reference, and I quit after 1 episode. Fallout was fun and I quickly embraced the world building. Probably the best season of any show I've seen this year. Cannot wait for season 2.

It was the tits. First Andor, now Fallout. It’s hard to believe anybody could take him seriously, but then you look at his fans and it all makes sense.

Who is Gary, and why should we care?

Did you enjoy the show? If yes, then Gary is welcome to attempt to perform a physical impossibility on himself.

I've rewatched a few times, and I've shifted on Maximus. He was pretty brilliant considering he was supposed to be this tough BoS soldier but still naive to a lot of the world in certain areas. When Lucy asks if he wants to have sex when they are in quarantine, and he explains how gross it is when your penis swells up and explodes, so well done and hilarious.

I think I may do a rewatch.

Cooper was awesome. his back story is just incredible. The more we learn on his life since the plays till now will just be more and more interesting.

Lucy was really great. I didnt hate Max either. He has this very specific naiveness about him. Like he has seen people die. He has seen how brutal everyone including the BoS can be. But he still wants to believe in ideals and he has almost no practical life knowledge. It’s interesting where his knowledge and Lucy’s diverge and overlap. She knows so much clinical information about sex and genes and repopulating the world, but nothing about the actual world. He knows the world is brutal, but doesn’t know how sex works.

and I think they did a good job with Maximus setting up that he knows life is hard so you might as well join the guys with the power suits but the price of that is brutal too.

They both have this sorta of belief in very classic and wrong which contrast with Cooper who is just a survivor.

ok, got through the first 2 episodes. It's a little slow and a bit silly but, I'm going to try to stick with it. I like the Ghoul character and the lead chick isn't bad to look at. far cry from her character in Yellowjackets.

Nice. Good to know I have a different opinion about this show than this clickbait cuck. Got quite a few of his minions running around this board.

Well that just further validates why I enjoyed the show so much. In all seriousness, unless its just complaints about what's canon and what isn't I can't at all see any serious major criticism of this show. It was fantastic.

For reference, I never played Fallout but watched an ex play it a fair amount so I had some idea of some of the concept and some of the Easter Eggs in the show.

Walton Goggins was on point as The Ghoul. Can't wait to see his character and Lucy trying to track down the Makers and his family. That's going to be amazing.

Was just enough CGI to be fun but not too much IMO.

Maximus wasn't my favorite by any means but I didn't mind his journey.

Fisnished episode 3 last night. I can't really put my finger on why I like the show, but I've enjoyed watching it so far. It hasn't blown me away but I'm interested enough to keep going. I like the randomness of the gore and violence contrasted to the naivete of the characters.

Also, never heard of Ella Purnell before this show. I am a HUGE fan. She is so damn sexy.

Just finished

Holy crap did this exceed my expectations.

Visually, I could tell from the trailer that this was going to look awesome, but I didn't expect the story or the characters to be as interesting as they were. Just a fun entertaining ride.

And the best part? There is SO much more material from the games they haven't even touched yet. Super mutants, other factions, weapons, etc. Can't wait for season 2.

It’s a great intro for people who are not familiar with the world of Fallout, there are a couple people griping about certain details but I was just so happy that I could share it with others.

I liked this show, creative and quirky but still intense.
